This contemporary detached four-bedroom house, with a wrap-around balcony and hot tub, sits on a quiet road 300 metres from the sheltered sands of Porth Beach. Ideal for families and groups of friends seeking an active seaside holiday, with the coast path connecting several beaches along the Newquay stretch.
Porth Beach itself is a playground of rockpools, streams, and caves, with a sweep of golden sand for sandcastle building. A narrow wooden footbridge crosses to Trevelgue Head, where a dramatic blowhole sends rainbow sprays of water into the air at mid tide and the headland provides a striking vantage point for sunrises.
The coast path leads north to Watergate Bay and south to a secluded cove, while the rolling cliffs towards Mawgan Porth stretch further along the coast. Beachside eateries at Porth serve pizza and ice cream, so full days on the sand need not mean going hungry.
On the first floor, an open-plan living, dining, and kitchen space fills with natural light through floor-to-ceiling glass doors that open onto the terrace. Wooden-panelled walls and flooring give the room a warm, inviting feel.
Two sofas, armchairs, and a reading corner furnish the living area, with a Smart TV with SkyTV and Netflix. A dining table seats 12, while the kitchen features a breakfast bar for more casual meals.
Down on the ground floor, a dedicated games and media room is furnished with a large sofa, bean bags, and a double sofa bed, a DVD player, and a Smart TV with Netflix – a ready-made den for family film nights and gaming sessions. Next door, the fourth bedroom has a chalet-style bunk bed with a double below and a single above.
A shower room with walk-in shower and WC serves the ground floor, with a utility room alongside. The master bedroom on the second floor features a king-size bed with a sea glimpse and an en-suite shower room with walk-in shower and WC.
