About The Snug

The Snug is a romantic, terraced cottage set within a Grade II listed barn conversion on the outskirts of St Minver, Cornwall. Set in the glorious countryside and a short drive away from popular Cornish beaches, the cottage provides all the comforts for a relaxing break such as off-road parking with boat parking, a well-equipped kitchen, and a private garden which can be accessed straight out from the main living area downstairs through large patio doors.

The ground floor has a thoughtfully appointed, open-plan living space where you can cook at home using the integrated appliances, toast to your retreat at the table for two, and unwind in the sitting area in front of the Smart TV. After a busy day exploring the coast, head upstairs to the shower room before catching your rest in the bedroom, furnished with a built-in wardrobe, bedside lamps, and a king-size bed.

Why not start your day with an alfresco breakfast in your private garden, whilst planning a new day of adventures with your loved one? In the village of St Minver, you'll find a convenience store and The Fourways Inn, a pub dating to the 18th century and the perfect stop for dinner before heading home to The Snug.

Spend a day exploring the coastal village of Rock where you can relax on the shores of Rock Beach, discover local artists at the Rock Road Gallery, and find hearty fare at The Mariners Public House. Further along the coast, you'll find Polzeath for the scenic Polzeath Beach, a popular for surfers and sunbathers, but if you're looking for coastal walks, trek from the village to Pentire Point for breath-taking views and local wildlife.

Carry on along the coast to the picturesque Port Isaac, Tintagel to discover local legends of King Arthur at Tintagel Castle, and Boscastle, close to Pentargon Waterfall. For cycling enthusiasts, be sure to join the Camel Trail at Wadebridge to see some spectacular sights and countryside.
