After a long drive, we were relieved to find a nice cup of tea waiting for usand the milk in the fridge was a lifesaver-saved us from heading out immediately. Once settled, we jumped straight into the hot tub with a view over the fields, which was really lovely. Honestly, we couldn’t believe how beautiful the place was-it felt like a proper escape. We finally felt truly relaxed and would definitely come back again. It was just what we needed, for sure.

We stayed over Christmas and honestly, it was lovely despite the terrible weather. The place is in a fantastic spot near Exmoor, so we enjoyed some great walks. The hot tub was a real treat after trudging through the rain! The house is well-equipped with thoughtful little touches, making it feel really cosy. The bed and sofa were super comfy, too. We definitely want to come back and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to others. It’s a beautiful spot for sure!

We had a lovely, chilled-out weekend despite the miserable weather. The thoughtful touches like bubbly and a welcoming postcard really made us feel at home. The barn conversion is gorgeousand the bed was super comfy. Everything felt well planned - full-length mirror, handy plug sockets, pretty flowers, good lightingand plenty of hangers. We wish we could’ve made more use of the hot tub, but the bath was a great backup. Thanks a lot!

This cottage was just perfect for us and our dog; we really enjoyed every minute of our stay! The cottage feels warm and welcoming, with a high standard of finish. It's ideally located for both the moors and the beachesand we can't recommend it highly enough. The grounds are completely dog-friendly and safe, so there were no worries when our pup needed a comfort break. The owners are incredibly friendly too.
James
Such a lovely spot for just chilling out as a couple. We’re definitely planning to come back!
James
This cottage is fantastic with high end fixtures and fittings. The bedroom, bathroom, kitchen, groundsand hot tub were all faultless. Those welcome gifts were a lovely touch! Everything was clean and well laid out. Just a heads up, the lanes around the property are really narrow and the 6am wake-up call from the herd of cattle was a bit annoying. Groceries can be deliveredand Tiverton is only a 10 minute drive for any supplies. There are plenty of nearby pubs too. Definitely check out Tarr Steps and Wimbleball Lake. The Great Western Canal offers a pleasant flat walk.
Emma
The cottage was absolutely spotless with everything you could possibly wish for and more! The log burner and hot tub were just amazing, as was everything else - definitely the best cottage we have ever stayed in! The hosts were fantastic and super helpful; we couldn't have asked for anything more. Our dog Chester really enjoyed the enclosed gardenand we had some lovely walks visiting Tarr Steps, Dulvertonand Tiverton canal. We ate in some wonderful pubs, with The Mason Arms being our highlight - so dog friendly too. We really hope to return soon.
