If you fancy something a little more adventurous, lace up your walking boots and drive 9 miles to Parys Mountain, where a network of trails leads you through striking copper-coloured landscapes dotted with old mine shafts and windmills.

The views from the top are well worth the climb. Right across from the property, keen golfers can tee off at the Storswyn Golf Course.
