The Cabin Reviews

Steven
Nice little cabin for me and my partner. Relaxing. Good for the dog who came with us. Nice and peaceful. Hot tub was great once warmed up as it involves heating with wood
The property was clean and tidy but would have preferred the outside space to be enclosed.

It was a lovely cabin very clean also the area was great for a base to go and explore the island the couple that owned the camp site were very friendly and helpful and told us how to get to places and the field at the bottom of the site was great for the dogs to run about I would recommend the camp to anyone
Fantastic 4 day celebration for our Diamond wedding stay at the fabulous Cabin. Highly recommend this place for a short or long stay. Tha owners Julie and Kal are a fantastic couple and we wish them all the best in their new venture. Terry & Carole Dewhurst.
The cabin was spotlessly clean on arrival site owners very welcoming. Minus points were very small fridge and microwave not on the worktop or a combi one which you need when no hob. Tv far too small. The verandah had no chicken wire or similar to fence off the stream below with a steep drop worried about our little dog we also thought wrongly that the sitting out area was accessible from the cabin without walking out of the gate and turning left. Bathroom was amazing though. Didn't use the hot tub. Pretty windy whilst we were there. Would I book again no due to issues, mentioned better suited to a couple no dog.
This place is a little bit of heaven! Your own little cabin from the hustle and bustle of the city. The hot tub was amazing! The cabin was well equipped with everything you need for your stay. The owners are wonderful, nothing was too much, they advised of places to go and sites to see. I hope we get to go again.
Robert
Highly recommended accommodation, The Cabin was comfortable and everything you needed for a relaxing time away. Cannot thank our hosts Karl and Julie for a trouble free holiday.

An adventure boat company in the heart of Wales. Whether it's adrenaline fueled fun, or a relaxing river tour, you and your family will want to book up with Rib Ride. Ride a 'RIB' boat on the Menai Strait or take a Bear Grylls adventure boat tour. Very highly reviewed on Trip Advisor. Tours for bridges and swells, puffin and seals, castle and islands and more.

Greenwood Forest Park - LL55 3AD

This attraction is really something special and has reached the finals of the "Best Family Day Out" category in the National Tourism Awards for Wales.  It's actually the only attraction in North Wales to be shortlisted for this prestigious award. Located in the Snowdonia region there are many rides and activities including Jungle Boat Adventure, Den Building, Green Dragon Roller Caoster, Treetop Towers and the BareFoot Trail.  Kids of all ages will love it here and we think it's excellent value as well.
Great Orme Ancient Mines - LL30 2XG

A visit to Great Orme Ancient Mines is offers a fun and educational daytrip for families. The amazing site allows visitors to explore the copper mines which are thought to date back to the Bronze Age but were only discovered in 1987 during a landscaping project. The tours provide an insight into the way of life for miners over 3,500 years ago. A family ticket is just £16.00
Welsh Mountain Zoo - LL28 5UY
about 25 Miles
Located in the North of Wales with a spectacular setting high above Colwyn Bay this is a lovely zoo which makes an excellent family day out.  Highlights include the Chimp Encounter, Penguin Parades, Bear Falls and the Children's Farm.  The setting is perfect for walking around and you can take in the superb scenery, roam the wooded pathways and relax on the grassy slopes.  There are many rare and endangered species to see and learn about including the Snow Leopards and the Red Pandas not to mention the Sumatran Tigers. You can also buy the experience of being a zoo keeper for a day, either for yourself or as a gift.
