The seaside town of New Quay (7 miles) features a choice of three beaches, a bustling harbour offering boat trips and places to eat and drink, as well as access to the Wales Coast Path. The smaller coves at Cwmtydu and Llangrannog (both within 9 miles) are well suited to paddling and quieter beach days.

The National Wool Museum and the National Trust’s Llanerchaeron (both within 12 miles) offer interesting local attractions. Step inside this welcoming cottage to find airy rooms with neutral tones that invite you to unwind.

You’ll be greeted by the lounge, where soft seating and a TV sit beneath skylights and offer the perfect spot for cosy evenings in. Find more space to relax when you follow the steps through to the bright sunroom, where three large windows frame views of the surrounding fields where the owners’ horses and ponies graze.

When it’s time to eat, walk through to the light-filled kitchen/diner and find a well-appointed space with everything needed for a self-catered stay. On balmy days, throw open the French doors to the garden and let the fresh country air fill the home.
