About Mari The Vintage Caravan

A delightful, retro hideaway, nestled in the glorious Ceredigion countryside, this former horse-drawn caravan, restored to its former glory, is a truly special romantic retreat for couples. Tucked away inside a rustic Dutch barn, to ensure you have fun whatever the weather.

Enjoy the wood burner on winter evenings or soak outside in the outdoor wood fired bath made in Finland on summer nights. Situated 1.5 miles from Dihewyd and 6.5 miles from Llanarth, this glamping gem is just 9.5 miles from picture-postcard New Quay, with its sandy beaches.

Book a boat trip from here to head out into Bae Ceredigion to see if you can spot dolphins or porpoises. Lace up your walking boots and follow a section of the picturesque, 60-mile-long Ceredigion Coast Path.

Explore your rural surroundings as well. Spend an afternoon at Cors Caron National Nature Reserve (17 miles) or the National Trust’s Llanerchaeron Estate (5 miles), with its walled garden, parkland and exquisite Georgian villa, designed by architect John Nash.

Entice yourselves away from the panoramic views to discover this beautifully restored retro caravan. Tucked away inside a rustic shed, to ensure you have fun whatever the weather, it has been carefully returned to its former glory.

Climb five steps to enter the lovely caravan and discover a delightful interior, with a curved wooden ceiling, a beautiful bed and special, decorative, vintage touches. Light the wood burner in here after rural walks to create a cosy ambience.

Spend time outside in your lounge/kitchen/diner, where you can prepare romantic meals on those occasions you choose not to dine out. Unwind together on the futon sofa.

There is also a spacious shower room here. Cook outside on the BBQ or relax in front of the fire pit, as often as the weather permits, then pop open a bottle of chilled wine and dine outside together as the sun goes down.
