About Ty Titw Tomos

Beautifully converted from an original hayloft barn, this light-filled rural retreat offers a delightful holiday base for up to five guests. The dog-friendly property is just 8 miles from beautiful sandy beaches on Cardigan Bay, the stunning scenic Ceredigion Coast Path and the picturesque village of New Quay.

Enjoy a stroll along its golden beaches and the bustling Quay, where you may glimpse bottlenose dolphins, regular visitors to the harbour. Or take a boat trip for a close up of sea life along the coastline.

New Quay is home to a honey farm, where you can see the diligent bees behind glass and sample their tasty produce. Meet traditional Welsh farmyard animals, visit the servants’ courtyard and explore a walled garden at the National Trust’s historic Llanerchaeron Estate (4 miles).

The estate’s elegant Georgian villa has remained largely unchanged since it was built 200 years ago. The cottage is one of a small group of historic converted barns on an organic farm run on sustainable, eco-friendly lines.

Beams, latch doors, exposed stone walls, and original 19th-century window nooks enhance the property’s period character and charm. Its light and airy interior combines contemporary and country style furnishings, with underfloor heating beneath the downstairs oak flooring adding a cosy touch.

The spacious, open-plan living space and adjoining sun room are the hub of this welcoming cottage. Whitewashed stone walls frame sofas piled with bright cushions, a wood burner and glorious views over the Aeron valley.

Leading off this space is the large, all-white kitchen, housing all the culinary items you might need, and a pretty country-style dining table and chairs. Upstairs, find three inviting bedrooms: a double, a bunk room suitable for children, and a single.
