About Blue Skies

Blue Skies is a bright and cheerful single-storey caravan set on White Tower Caravan Park near Caernarfon, offering a laid-back base for couples or small families looking to explore this striking corner of North Wales. It’s the sort of place that keeps things straightforward, giving you all you need so you can get out and enjoy the landscape that people travel from all over the world to see.

Step into the open-plan living area, where the kitchen comes equipped with the everyday essentials, making mealtimes easy whether you’re rustling up breakfast or putting together something heartier after a long day out. The dining table brings everyone together, while the sitting area, with its electric fire and TV, adds a warm backdrop for slow evenings and early starts alike.

Blue Skies offers two inviting bedrooms: a restful double and a twin that works well for friends or younger guests. A practical shower room with walk-in shower rounds things off indoors, and with WiFi, heating, and bed linen and towels ready for use, settling in is a breeze.

The park’s location is one of its biggest draws. Caernarfon is easily reached, offering a mighty castle, a lively waterfront, and plenty of places to grab a bite.

If you’re keen on walking or soaking up mountain scenery, Llanberis is close enough for spontaneous days out, home to the Snowdon Mountain Railway, lakeside strolls and a gateway to Eryri’s most dramatic vistas. Bangor sits in the other direction, bringing shops, cafés and a dose of student-town energy.

For something a little wilder, Eryri National Park is on your doorstep, with sweeping valleys, rugged peaks and countless walking routes ranging from relaxed rambles to proper leg-burners. You’ll never be short of somewhere new to explore.

Greenwood Forest Park - LL55 3AD
about 7 Miles
This attraction is really something special and has reached the finals of the "Best Family Day Out" category in the National Tourism Awards for Wales.  It's actually the only attraction in North Wales to be shortlisted for this prestigious award. Located in the Snowdonia region there are many rides and activities including Jungle Boat Adventure, Den Building, Green Dragon Roller Caoster, Treetop Towers and the BareFoot Trail.  Kids of all ages will love it here and we think it's excellent value as well.
Ribride - LL59 5DE
about 7 Miles

An adventure boat company in the heart of Wales. Whether it's adrenaline fueled fun, or a relaxing river tour, you and your family will want to book up with Rib Ride. Ride a 'RIB' boat on the Menai Strait or take a Bear Grylls adventure boat tour. Very highly reviewed on Trip Advisor. Tours for bridges and swells, puffin and seals, castle and islands and more.

Other highlights include the Servants Rooms and the one ton slate bed which was originally made for Queen Victoria.

Located in the North of Wales with a spectacular setting high above Colwyn Bay this is a lovely zoo which makes an excellent family day out.  Highlights include the Chimp Encounter, Penguin Parades, Bear Falls and the Children's Farm.  The setting is perfect for walking around and you can take in the superb scenery, roam the wooded pathways and relax on the grassy slopes.  There are many rare and endangered species to see and learn about including the Snow Leopards and the Red Pandas not to mention the Sumatran Tigers. You can also buy the experience of being a zoo keeper for a day, either for yourself or as a gift.
