Briallen Reviews

We had a fantastic stay. Everything was as it should have been. The views and isolation were incredible. Very clean and everything you would need to cook a meal plus there were actual instructions for the combination microwave oven bonus. For us, the downside was the bed and this just applies to us being of a elder persuasion we struggled to get in and out but was very comfortable and we should have realised from the pictures on the Web site. The sette could have been a bit more comfortable. Another bonus a couple of reviews say no wardrobe for clothes but the owners have found a brilliant way around this with a stand that has hangers pop out to hang clothes. Fire pit was good to sit by and pounder. Never used hot tub, so cannot comment on it. The walk to the car with belongings is not to far and there is no rush. Various animals to view made friends with the horse. All in all a very good break with no intrusion from the owners would highly recommend and cannot state how relaxing being there is.
Miss Heather Stratton
Beautiful location, clean and very comfortable, plenty of kitchen utensils etc, lovely bathroom. Decking is perfect for looking at the stars as there is no light pollution, and good for breakfast outside while listening to bird song and the mountain stream in the distance. Perfect fenced off area for the dog, who thoroughly enjoyed the freedom and was fascinated by Mrs Lloyd the cat and Dotty the pony. Area for wild flowers
Mrs Rebecca Travis
Beautiful, secluded, perfect base for walks. Allthe facilities we required, owners were lovely and very helpful. Our little Border Terrier loved it, and it was great that yhe area around the pod was fenced off so that he couldn't do a great escape. We will he back x.
Mr Terence Nicklin
Excellently presented! Well kept, excellent hostess.
Mr Adam Harper
Cosy private pod, well furnished to a very good standard striking a balance between comfort and function. Very well looked after with surrounding garden area well kept footpath and parking area. Hot tub was great, and a welcome way to relax after a walk in the mountains.
Miss Vanessa Pinder
We stayed here in Jan 25 for 7 nights, absolutely amazing Claire was so helpful, we had a leak on the hot tub which was sorted straightaway, hot tub was lovely, was very cold so as expected it did take longer to get the hot tub hot, but so worth the wait! We took a little Dachshund, she loved all the new smells, the pod is fenced in which made to easier to relax with her, only thing I would be mindful of if you have a small dog is there is a gate at the top and bottom which she could get through but she only attempted once so wasnt an issue for us, she loved it! We would definitely go back
Mrs Jo Maddock
We had a fab time in the pod. It was a v cold weekend and the tub took 4 hrs and all the wood to heat up, it was worth it though.
Mr Tom Staley
Amazing getaway! Beautiful scenery and great facilities. Only negative is that the lower feed for the hot tub was blocked so despite two attempts we couldnt get the hot tub warm.
Mrs Zandra Barker
I booked this for my husbands birthday as a gift and to say he completely loved it is an understatement, we were also able to take our dog with us and I can guarantee he enjoyed himself too and as for myself I don't usually do back to nature but I can honestly say I did not want to leave. The most beautiful place we have ever stayed so relaxing and quiet and the hot tub oh wow 5 star
Mr David Smith
The pod was as described. We was staying a week so storage was awkward but we survived. Hob was a challenge but instructions to hand and sorted. Hot tub was amazing. We have a springer who loved the freedom of the secure garden. Will defo be back. Thank you Clare.
Mr Chad Engelbrecht
What an amazing! !! Get away! Well set up, everything is ready set up to go.. and amazing location for relaxing
Mrs Lynne Lewis-rose
A peaceful secluded location, yet easy access to main road. We were able to easily continue our coastal walking of Wales between Harlech and Aberdovey and use this as a central base. We thoroughly enjoyed the outdoors hot tub and the whole ambience of this idyllic hideaway.
Ms Nicola Randall
Exceptional location, being remote but with all of the creature comforts. Nestled in farmland with the surrounding mountains as your vista. Yet still not far from amenities. Couldnt have been more perfect.
Mrs Christine Golder
Good location. Clean and tidy property. Really enjoyed our stay.
Felicity Mae Cooper
Great property with privacy and beautiful views. Dogs and myself and partner had a wonderful relaxing time. Plenty of logs for fit pit and hot tub, close to local amenities and activities! Would 100 recommend if you are in need of a relaxing, serene, and peaceful place to unwind
Miss Andrea Cessford
This lodge is absolutely amazing, we had such a relaxing time and fell in love with the area. The farm cat, Mrs Lloyd, became my best friend for the few days we were there and she was a real highlight. The owners were lovely and available when needed, but they let us be ourselves and made sure you have your privacy. The hot tub takes a while to heat up, so bear that in mind, but I loved using the firepit every night. Sitting out with the fire going at night surrounded by the sheep and horses was honestly so incredible. One thing to note, the roads on the way to the area could be super narrow and winding just for anyone who isn't comfortable with country roads as this is something we wish we knew so we could decide who was driving there. But honestly, the trip was incredible. We had such a relaxing time. Thank you so much to the owners for letting us stay
