The kitchen/diner is sleek and spacious, with modern appliances and a circular table set by an airy window. Leading off the kitchen is a utility room for holiday convenience, plus a ground-floor shower room.

The four first-floor bedrooms are inviting with their muted shades and plush linens. There are three elegant double bedrooms to sink into, while the spacious king-size bedroom features a refined en-suite shower room for added indulgence.

Enjoy soaking weary muscles in the large tub in the family bathroom. Outside, an enclosed garden has stylish furniture and a hot tub, providing the perfect combination for sunny afternoons.

You will also find a sauna here. Enjoy al fresco meals using the outdoor furniture, and find private parking for up to three cars.

Whether you're a group that wants to seek out beach adventures or rambling routes, there is plenty to keep every member occupied. Browse the independent shops in Cardigan (1 mile) or step back in time at the 900-year-old Cardigan Castle.

Across the river, St Dogmaels (4.5 miles) boasts the start, or finish, of the 186-mile Pembrokeshire Coast Path, which runs through incredible landscapes and passes many picture-postcard resorts. Children will love building sandcastles on Poppit Sands or Patch Beach, both within 1.5 miles.

Merlin Hill Centre is a working dairy farm located deep in the Carmarthenshire countryside. Although not a petting farm the farm is still very family friendly with plenty of fun activities to keep children happy. The farm has a good sized play area and plenty of picnic tables as well as a Farmyard Heritage Centre where visitors can learn all about Welsh farm life and about the mystical Legend of Merlin. Get there early if you want to watch the cows being milked!

Folly Farm in Pembrokeshire is an award winning Farm attraction, offering fun for the whole family come rain or shine. The main attractions are the Zoo, Farm and Petting Barn and there is also a huge Adventure Play Area and a small funfair with traditional rides. Priced at just £8.00 for adults and £7.00 for children it offers excellent value for money. There are several places to eat and drink including a licensed bar and a family friendly restaurant.
National Botanic Garden of Wales - SA32 8HN

When the weather is nice this attraction is perfect as you can wander around and admire the superb range of exotic trees and shrubs.  They look different at different times of the year but one of the most popular times to see them is in Autumn.  With various events throughout the year such as Apple Weekend there is always something new to experience.  You can watch a 90 second film about this attraction on their website which is excellent.
Celtic Quest Coaststeering - SA65 9PT

The Dinosaur Park is located in Tenby and makes the perfect family day out.  Activities on offer include fossil hunting, Dino Crafts, Pat a Pet and the treasure hunt.  For both toddlers and older kids there's an indoor adventure playground, ideal when the weather is not on your side.  The high-tec activity centre is always popular with interactive fun and education.  New in 2010 is Hooplasaurus.  Check out their website for the latest admission prices and what's on when you plan to visit.

Dinefwr Park and Castle is the perfect place to come if you like the great outdoors. These stunning ruins are one of the areas most iconic landmarks and are surrounded by breathtaking scenery and wildlife of all descriptions. There is also a 17th century mansion to explore with grand rooms and wonderful exhibits of paintings and tapestries. The gardens feature amazing floral displays and there is also a delightful Tea Room. Children can let of steam on the adventure playground.
