About Parklands Cottage

Perfect for exploring the idyllic countryside and gorgeous beaches of Pembrokeshire, the charming detached property has ample space for eight guests seeking a quiet and relaxing holiday.

Featuring a lovely conservatory, a soothing hot tub and a welcoming wood burner, this fresh, bright retreat is a fantastic base for beach lovers, walkers and cyclists discovering the area’s glorious coastline, quaint villages and historic sites. Entering this welcoming property, the inviting lounge has a Smart TV, a wood burner and ample seating, perfect for a cosy night in.

Exploring the ground floor further, there’s a delightful additional snug, also with a Smart TV, and an airy conservatory. At the heart of the house is the beautifully arranged, fully equipped country-style kitchen/diner.

The ground floor also features a WC and utility room. Upstairs, you will find a refreshing bathroom and four warmly decorated bedrooms: two stylish en-suite king-size rooms, a cheerful double and a bunk bedroom ideal for younger guests.

Outside, the pretty garden has a charming lawn with a few steps leading up to a spacious patio making a beautiful spot for dining alfresco. A bubbling hot tub nestles beneath a gazebo.

Parking is available for four cars along the private driveway. St Florence is perfectly situated for exploring Pembrokeshire, with the historic town of Pembroke to the west (8 miles) and the popular seaside resort of Tenby to the east (4.5 miles).

There’s a wealth of popular attractions for all the family: Manor Wildlife Park, Heatherton World of Activities, Dinosaur Park Tenby, and Great Wedlock Farm and Deer Park are all within a couple of miles.

Step back in time to the world of luxury train travel and stay in this pretty carriage with your loved one. Located on a campsite in the Pembrokeshire countryside, it offers easy access to some of the best scenic sights and attractions in the area. Redberth (1.5 miles) has a pub and a couple of shops for picking up amenities, or you could head to the glorious village of Saundersfoot (5 miles).

Dinosaur Park - SA67 8DE

The Dinosaur Park is located in Tenby and makes the perfect family day out.  Activities on offer include fossil hunting, Dino Crafts, Pat a Pet and the treasure hunt.  For both toddlers and older kids there's an indoor adventure playground, ideal when the weather is not on your side.  The high-tec activity centre is always popular with interactive fun and education.  New in 2010 is Hooplasaurus.  Check out their website for the latest admission prices and what's on when you plan to visit.
Folly Farm - SA68 0XA

Folly Farm in Pembrokeshire is an award winning Farm attraction, offering fun for the whole family come rain or shine. The main attractions are the Zoo, Farm and Petting Barn and there is also a huge Adventure Play Area and a small funfair with traditional rides. Priced at just £8.00 for adults and £7.00 for children it offers excellent value for money. There are several places to eat and drink including a licensed bar and a family friendly restaurant.
Pembroke Castle - SA71 4LA

Pembroke Castle is thought to be the birthplace of the Tudor dynasty and is an excellent choice for a family day trip. The castle one of the areas most iconic landmarks and features an amazing 75ft high Great Tower! Visitors can also take a tour of the Norman Hall and the Exhibition Rooms where the displays change regularly. There is also a Picnic area and plenty of open space for children to run around in the grounds and gardens. The site also has a cafe and a gift shop.
Celtic Quest Coaststeering - SA65 9PT

Celtic Quest Coaststeering offers a unique way for active families to spend the day. As long as children are over 8 and everyone is fit and well the whole family can enjoy a day of climbing, descending down mountains, cliff jumping and Island hopping. This adrenaline boosting day out is not for the fainthearted. A half day of Coaststeering cost just £39.00 per person.
Merlin Hill Centre - SA67 8BP

Merlin Hill Centre is a working dairy farm located deep in the Carmarthenshire countryside. Although not a petting farm the farm is still very family friendly with plenty of fun activities to keep children happy. The farm has a good sized play area and plenty of picnic tables as well as a Farmyard Heritage Centre where visitors can learn all about Welsh farm life and about the mystical Legend of Merlin. Get there early if you want to watch the cows being milked!
National Botanic Garden of Wales - SA32 8HN

When the weather is nice this attraction is perfect as you can wander around and admire the superb range of exotic trees and shrubs.  They look different at different times of the year but one of the most popular times to see them is in Autumn.  With various events throughout the year such as Apple Weekend there is always something new to experience.  You can watch a 90 second film about this attraction on their website which is excellent.
