About Southwood Cottage

This stylish retreat enjoys a remote location in Newgale, on the beautiful west coast of Wales. Sleeping six guests, it’s the ideal base for families and groups of friends who enjoy getting out in nature.

The long-distance Pembrokeshire Coast Path passes nearby, and a footpath from the property leads directly to Newgale’s wide, sandy beach. Days out from the holiday home include the seaside town of Tenby, historic Pembroke, and Oakwood Theme Park (all within 30 miles).

The detached coastal bolthole has a fresh, contemporary feel, with crisp decor, cool tones, and modern artwork on the walls in hues to reflect the local landscape. Large windows with stylish shutters frame gorgeous sea views and flood the property with natural light.

A couple of steps lead to the property’s rear entrance, and inside you’ll find a charming galley-style kitchen. From here, move through to the large lounge/diner, with its impressive wood-clad ceiling and cosy wood burner.

Relax here, watching the Smart TV and sharing mealtimes at the dining table. Pick from three tastefully decorated bedrooms, one of which has an en-suite shower room and French doors leading to an attractive sunroom.

Please note, another of the bedrooms is reached via a small flight of steps. A family bathroom completes the accommodation.

A patio sits at the front with outdoor furniture, a hot tub, and far-reaching coastal views. To the rear is an enclosed garden with a large lawn and summerhouse.

Private parking available for three cars. Build sandcastles on Newgale’s glorious sandy beach, then refuel in the nearby pub or cafe, or head into Solva (4 miles) for more eateries.

In St David’s (7 miles), Britain’s smallest city, you can soak up history at the 12th-century cathedral and Oriel y Parc.
