Nolton is just 1.5 miles from the picturesque coastal village of Nolton Haven, located within the stretch of St Brides Bay and boasting plenty of opportunities for swimming and boating.

Made up of sand and shingle with rock pools and cliffs on either side, the south-west facing cove of Nolton Haven Beach (1.5 miles) is designated as a Marine Special Area of Conservation, and offers lovely walks along the sand and across the iconic Pembrokeshire Coast Path. Keen walkers can join the coast path and to ramble to Little Haven Beach, 3.5 miles away.

St Davids, the UK's smallest city and home to some excellent pubs, restaurants and shops, can be reached within 12.5 miles. The rustic farmhouse-style exterior is perfectly complemented by the sleek and sophisticated contemporary interior of this picturesque shepherd’s hut, which is accessed up a small set of external steps.

Flooded with plenty of natural sunlight through the stunning picture window, the spacious and airy open-plan lounge, kitchenette, dining and sleeping layout at the heart of this retreat provides everything you need to relax and unwind at the end of a day’s adventure. Lose yourself in stunning countryside views as you enjoy your local fare or relax on one of the plush armchairs.

Tucked away at the back of the hut, you’ll find a sumptuous double bed, as well as a handy WC. The private shower facilities can be found externally, just outside the shepherd’s hut.

Soak up your fresh, countryside air from the comfort of the stunning wood-fired hot tub in the private garden, which also features outdoor furniture perfect for enjoying some al fresco dining. As the sun goes down, light the BBQ fire pit to roast marshmallows beneath the clear, dark skies.

Celtic Quest Coaststeering offers a unique way for active families to spend the day. As long as children are over 8 and everyone is fit and well the whole family can enjoy a day of climbing, descending down mountains, cliff jumping and Island hopping. This adrenaline boosting day out is not for the fainthearted. A half day of Coaststeering cost just £39.00 per person.
Pembroke Castle - SA71 4LA

Pembroke Castle is thought to be the birthplace of the Tudor dynasty and is an excellent choice for a family day trip. The castle one of the areas most iconic landmarks and features an amazing 75ft high Great Tower! Visitors can also take a tour of the Norman Hall and the Exhibition Rooms where the displays change regularly. There is also a Picnic area and plenty of open space for children to run around in the grounds and gardens. The site also has a cafe and a gift shop.
Folly Farm - SA68 0XA

Folly Farm in Pembrokeshire is an award winning Farm attraction, offering fun for the whole family come rain or shine. The main attractions are the Zoo, Farm and Petting Barn and there is also a huge Adventure Play Area and a small funfair with traditional rides. Priced at just £8.00 for adults and £7.00 for children it offers excellent value for money. There are several places to eat and drink including a licensed bar and a family friendly restaurant.
Dinosaur Park - SA67 8DE

The Dinosaur Park is located in Tenby and makes the perfect family day out.  Activities on offer include fossil hunting, Dino Crafts, Pat a Pet and the treasure hunt.  For both toddlers and older kids there's an indoor adventure playground, ideal when the weather is not on your side.  The high-tec activity centre is always popular with interactive fun and education.  New in 2010 is Hooplasaurus.  Check out their website for the latest admission prices and what's on when you plan to visit.
