As day turns to night, retire to the cabin bed in the open-plan room, or head through the tent-style drapes to rest in either of the two separate bedrooms. Outside, you’ll find a unique ‘Pitch Pod’ shower room, as well as a fire pit and covered decking area; for a real treat, take a long soak in the wood-fired hot tub or enjoy a tour of the surrounding farmland with the owner.

Enjoy pure tranquillity by strolling along the canal or nearby Talybont Reservoir (3.5 miles); more adventurous walkers can hike at the centre of the Beacon Beacons National Park to be rewarded with far-reaching views over the whole area.
