I thoroughly recommend this cottage to everyone. It was much more than we expected. There was a lovely welcome pack for us and the dogs. The cottage is fully stocked with much more than you'd usually find in a rental. The hot tub was lovely and the owners who lived locally were really friendly and kind throughout the holiday. The cottage itself is clean spacious and light with wonderful views. The local pub is lovely and well worth a visit. The house was well prepared for kids and dogs.

We had a truly wonderful holiday at Dderw Las. We were able to rest and relax in this splendid location. We were very lucky with the weather and this enabled us to enjoy sitting outside, enjoy the hot tub and a couple of BBQs. The communication from the Owners prior to our stay and during our holiday was appreciated. As was the welcome pack and tas ty homemade treats of Welsh cakes and drop scones that were supplied by Mary. Our dog Bella enjoyed the many walks found from the bungalow.

Dderw Las is a fantastic bungalow set in beautiful surroundings - every window offers stunning views of the surrounding countryside. Yes it is fairly secluded (nearest shop approx 3 miles); but that was a plus not a minus because it means you can totally switch off and enjoy the peace and tranquility. You just need to be organised regarding provisi ons, or eat in the nearby Shoemakers Arms (booking advised) Mrs Davies was a warm and welcoming host. We loved our stay there and would recommend

We had a great week in Pentre-bach. The bungalow was exactly as described and the hot tub was perfect after a day of good walks. Our dog loved all the local walks and especially being surrounded by sheep and new lambs. the owners are the local farmers who could not have been more helpful

It is extremely well equipped with lots of personal touches from fresh flowers to lovely Welsh cakes and drop scones. Its very well kept, spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Superb hosts, there if you need them but unobtrusive if you don't. Defin itely one of the best we've stayed in, would love to return, such a gem.
