This delightful, detached cabin, surrounded by rolling countryside, is one of four properties on this site and ideal for couples, small families or solo travellers seeking a tranquil base from which to explore the surrounding Welsh countryside and attractions. There are plenty of scenic walks available from the doorstep.
Perfectly placed, this idyllic retreat is just 2 miles from Newtown, on the banks of the River Severn, where you can explore the contemporary art gallery, visit the theatre, browse independent shops and find plenty of eateries. Within 5 miles is the historic market town of Montgomery, set within ancient walls forming a Conservation Area.
Montgomery is also the gateway to explore the breathtaking landscapes of the Vale of Montgomery, where you can follow many scenic cycling and walking trails. One local attraction you must visit is medieval Powis Castle and its Grade II-listed garden, less than 13 miles away.
Drive up the hill and park outside this splendid property, taking a moment to admire the countryside scenery surrounding this breathtaking spot. Take two steps up to the entrance and then step into the spacious and welcoming open-plan living area with gorgeous interiors and superb views through the double patio doors.
The living area is flooded with natural light and features plenty of contemporary comforts, creating the ideal social space for a memorable stay. After a day of activity in the surrounding countryside, relax on the comfortable sofa for a chat or catch a movie on the Smart TV.
On chilly evenings, you can add a log to the wood burner to create a cosy, crackling ambience. The kitchen area is well equipped, so you can rustle up a lazy brunch, a picnic to go or a romantic dinner.
With the dining table invitingly positioned by the French doors, you can enjoy the view and, on warm evenings, open the doors to let the outside in. When it’s time to rest, you can sleep soundly in the lovely king size bedroom, which has plenty of storage and doors leading to the decking.
