We had a really relaxing stay at Wyeside Barn. The place was spacious, comfyand had everything we needed for a great holiday. Annette and Stan are lovely hosts - they kept themselves to themselves but still brought over a yummy homemade cake. The area is full of things to doand the hot tub after a long day was just perfect. The property was really spacious and warm. The hot tub was great but the steps felt dangerous, not securedand it was a hard surface if you fell. Bedrooms were large and bright. The location was good with a riverside walk close by. However, there was a big problem with constant barking dogs and being so close to a busy road. It was a real shame that the owners didn't come over to introduce themselves and there were no little extras, like cake, which some guests had before. That would have been a nice touch to make us feel welcome!

Inside there is a huge soft play area with a separate area for toddlers as well as ball pools, climbing frames, slides and chutes. The Cannon balls are a big hit with children of all ages. New for 2010 is the Badgers quest interactive maze. Outside there is a play area, large boating lake with paddle boats, nature trails with clues and quizzes and an agility course.
