Kite Hall Reviews

Sam
Great spot for exploring Snowdonia, really convenient location. The burger at Twin Foxes is a must-try, both beef and lamb are fantastic!

We recently stayed at Kite Hall with the family and it was fantastic! The place was spotless and had everything we needed. The weather was on our side, so we made good use of the barbecue and hot tub. Downstairs is really spacious - the kitchen, dining areaand living room are all massive, which was perfect for our group. We also enjoyed lighting the fire in the evenings, which made it extra cosy. The grounds are well maintained, even if they slope quite steeply outside. Definitely a great spot for a big family getaway!
Emma
We really enjoyed our stay here. The house is in a lovely spot with beautifully kept grounds, giving plenty of privacy even though it’s close to a busy road - handy for exploring the area. We could hear the traffic, but it didn’t really bother usand watching jets fly overhead was quite fun. Plenty to do nearbyand the coast isn’t far away. The hot tub was perfect after some long walks. Communication from the owners was excellent. Just a heads-up, it’s not exactly 'riverside' as listed, but you can hear the river a bit.
Martin
We loved this house! It’s roomy, cosyand perfectly situated for walks and swimming in southern Snowdonia. The garden is massive, great for relaxing. Yes, it’s a bit noisy from the nearby road, but honestly, the house more than makes up for it with its charm and comfort. Definitely a place we’d return to!

We really enjoyed our stay! The place was spacious and had everything we needed. The downstairs loo was surprisingly goodand the hot tub plus BBQ made it extra special. Outdoor seating was comfyand the nearby pub served tasty food. The garage shop and cafe were handy. Yes, the planes were a bit noisy at times, but it was kind of exciting to watch them fly by. Overall, a lovely trip!
Emma
We loved the place! It’s huge and feels really cosy with charming antique furniture. All rooms are en suite, plus there are two extra toilets downstairs. The grounds are stunning and totally private, though the hot tub’s a bit tricky to reach if you’re not so mobile. We had a really peaceful break!

What a lovely home! We had a great stayand we definitely recommend grabbing the Mawddwy Walking Paths map; we got ours from The Brigands Pub, a very good investment! Plus, the Red Lion is a fantastic locals pub at Dinas Mawddy. We loved the jets flying over now and then. Noisy, sure, but really exciting! The Hall made a perfect base, with everything very well catered for and beautifully turned out.
