Closer to home, you can head out on scenic walking and cycling trails or try one of the outdoor adventures arranged by the owners, such as canoeing or rock climbing. Spend a relaxed afternoon around Cwmbran Boating Lake (15 miles), enjoy gentle strolls through Sirhowy Valley Country Park (3.5 miles), or venture to Caerphilly (10 miles) to visit its town centre and impressive medieval castle.

Afterwards, return to the local pub for a hearty home-cooked meal, served with superb hillside views. Enter this single-storey property, which features an accessible layout and underfloor heating throughout.
