Welcome to Christmas Cottage in Sternfield, Saxmundham, Suffolk. This beautifully converted barn offers a cosy retreat for up to four people.

With two comfortable bedrooms and a spacious open-plan living area, it's perfect for families or small groups. The cottage also features a private hot tub, ideal for unwinding after a day of exploration.

The ground floor boasts 19th-century slate floors reclaimed from The Records Office in Chancery Lane, London.

The lounge area is equipped with a wood burner, perfect for winter evenings, and French doors that open onto a paved terrace with garden furniture and a parasol. The kitchen is well-equipped with modern appliances, and there's a dining area for four people.

Upstairs, you'll find a king-size Hypnos bed in one bedroom and twin Hypnos beds in the other.

The bathroom includes a corner shower and a separate bath, ensuring comfort for all guests. The large garden is shared with two other holiday cottages and includes mature trees and shrubs.

The attraction is also a registered charity and carries out important work in the care & rehabilitation of owls from the region. The sanctuary also raises awareness of owl conservation throughout the UK. Between April and the end of September there are two superb flying displays each day so you should try and make your visit coincide with one of these displays if you can.

The Africa themed park is very unique and gives visitors the chance to see some amazing creatures in a habitat which is as close to nature as possible. The park can be explored by car and on foot and Hyenas and Giraffes are just some of the animals you will encounter as you make your way around the park. Watch out for the lightning fast Cheetahs and keep your eyes peeled to spot the more reclusive creatures. During a day at Africa Alive there will be plenty of shows and educational talks taking place and if the weather turns then the indoor Adventure Play Ground comes in very handy. The site also has a well stocked Gift Shop and a Discovery Centre.
