About The Cider Farmhouse

Brimming with history and charm, this 400-year-old Welsh farmhouse promises a fun-filled escape for larger groups who love exploring the great outdoors. With exposed beams, rustic charm and sweeping views across rolling fields, it’s the ideal choice for big family holidays or milestone celebrations.

History lovers can tour the impressive National Trust estate at Powis Castle (4.5 miles), while the Llanfair Light Railway (10 miles) brings a nostalgic steam-train adventure to your itinerary.

Walkers and cyclists can set off along the Montgomery Canal or join routes leading towards the Offa’s Dyke National Trail. The market town of Montgomery (5 miles) is great for castle ruins and local shops, and the charming Tudor town of Shrewsbury (24 miles) makes a brilliant day trip.

The farmhouse has been stylishly designed with a welcoming hallway leading into a spacious kitchen, a beautiful area for cooking together and catching up. A handcrafted dining table stretches out beside bi-fold doors, creating a bright setting for leisurely family meals, while the cocktail bar adds a playful twist to evenings in.

Sink into the comfy lounge sofas for film viewings around the Smart TV and wood burner. Alternatively, head to the separate games room with a Smart TV, for tournaments of pool, table tennis and air hockey at the three-in-one converting games table.

Seven stylish bedrooms are spread across the ground and first floors, giving everyone plenty of privacy. On the ground-floor you will find a king-size bedroom with a large en-suite wet room.

Upstairs, there are six more bedrooms; a king-size with Juliet balcony with lovely views, a feature fireplace and an en-suite, another luxurious king-size room, three doubles (one boasting a feature fireplace), and an airy twin with a beautiful feature fireplace. Outside, the large garden sets the scene for sizzling BBQ lunches, peaceful coffees and starlit dips in the hot tub, while children can amuse themselves for hours in the wooden play centre.
