For those seeking a more forested adventure, Whinlatter Forest, located 19 miles away, beckons with its excellent bike tracks and the exhilarating Go Ape experience. Positioned just off the Coast to Coast walking route, the local area boasts an abundance of captivating walks, whether it's the 17-mile trek to Catbells or the closer 2-mile journey to Kinniside Stone Circle.

On clear days, the panoramic views extend all the way to Scotland and the Isle of Man. Nestled on a picturesque working farm, this holiday cottage exudes rustic charm and comfort.
