Pack buckets, spades and surfboards for days spent on the sandy shores, taking in the view of mighty Dunstanburgh Castle in the distance (2.5 miles) and spotting rare seabirds along the coast. For a scenic adventure, follow the Craster (3 miles) to Low Newton (2.5 miles) coastal walk, an 8-mile stretch of the county’s coastal path that offers breathtaking views of Embleton Bay.

Afterwards, drop into the village for refreshments at the local pub, less than 0.5 miles away. Renovated to an exceptional standard, this single-storey holiday home has been recently upgraded with stylish décor and contemporary comforts throughout.
