About Hemingways

This neighbouring village brims with history, boasting a majestic 12th-century church and the atmospheric ruins of Warkworth Castle. Continue on to Warkworth Beach (2.5 miles), a wide sandy stretch perfect for ballgames, fishing, bracing walks and surfing.

You’ll also find a surf school here, offering equipment hire and guided activities. Enter via the shared doorway and take the lift or stairs to the first floor.

Inside, the apartment is set across two levels, linked by an internal staircase. On the first floor, a handy WC sits just off the hallway, while a large open-plan living space provides the perfect setting to unwind.

The kitchen, with its pretty painted cabinets and bespoke tiling, is well equipped for transforming fresh seafood into memorable meals. Dine together at the table before sinking into the comfy sofas in the stylish lounge area.

Floor-to-ceiling windows and patio doors frame panoramic views across the marina, creating a calm backdrop for conversation, while a wall-mounted Smart TV is on hand for entertainment. Upstairs, three bedrooms each feature their own Smart TV, unique décor and inviting design.

The super-king-size and king-size rooms are at the front of the apartment, so you wake to sea views, while the rear twin offers a quieter setting. The master bedroom is complete with a chic en-suite, including a walk-in rainfall shower, while the main shower room has ornate tiling and a walk-in shower.

Alnwick Castle and Gardens - NE66 1NQ

Alnwick Castle and Gardens today are perhaps best known for their roles as Hogwarts in Harry Potter movies but have for many years been a family favourite attraction in Northumberland. The beautiful medieval castle is open to the public and during school holidays and at Christmas and Halloween a range of activities can be enjoyed including Santa's Workshop, a Pumpkin Parade, Spell Making Lessons and Owl and Bird of Prey Flying.
Cragside House and Gardens - NE65 7PX

Cragside House and Gardens (National Trust) are a popular Northumberland attraction with a beautiful stately home and gorgeous grounds to explore. The rhododendron labyrinth is a unique and fun addition to the grounds and there is also an adventure playground where children can let of steam. It is the stunning scenery that attracts most of the visitors though with many bringing a picnic for a relaxing family day out. The house itself hosts exhibits which change regularly. World of the Water Wizard is currently on display.

Go Ape! has really taken off and become one of the most popular attractions in the UK.  The Northumberland course is set in the stunning grounds of Matfin Hall.  Described as a high wire forest adventure this really is one for the more daring as the course takes place right up in the tree tops.  Giant tree top obstacle courses include ladders, bridges, tunnels and some of the country's best zip lines.  You will be provided with all safety equipment and training on site.
