Hulne Park, which wraps around Alnwick Castle, has some great walking routes to follow.

Reaching the coast is very accessible too, with the arty village of Alnmouth and its 7-mile stretch of golden sandy beach just 5.5 miles from the doorstep. The rolling hills, riverbanks, and waterfalls of the Ingram Valley can be reached within 15 miles.
