The lodge is ideally located in the Howardian Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. For keen walkers and cyclists, you will be spoilt with the endless open countryside within the North York Moors National Park nearby.

Welburn itself is a pretty, traditional village offering a village pub just 50 yards from the lodge, and a cafe selling produce and groceries, as well as offering breakfast and packed lunches. There is plenty in the area with something for everyone to enjoy, including Flamingo Land Resort, and Castle Howard - a historic stately home with grounds, fountains, trails, lakes and also host to a variety of concerts and events, including a great Christmas themed experience.

Head to Malton, claimed as the ‘foodie’ capital of North Yorkshire boasting popular weekend food festivals. Visit the city of York and enjoy some retail therapy, or explore York Minster, the variety of museums and Clifford’s Tower.

Step inside the open-plan living space, incorporating a fabulous fitted kitchen with integrated appliances including, fridge/freezer, slim dishwasher, electric oven and hob, and microwave. The large sofas surrounding the modern wood burner are ideal to snuggle up on whilst watching your favourite film.

Open the bi-fold doors to the patio garden to extend your space to the outdoors. Take the step to the bedrooms, a king-size and a king-size zip-and-link (which can be made as 2'6"" twins on request); both are beautifully furnished ensuring a good night’s rest.

Completing the lodge is a pristine bathroom, just the place for a relaxing hot bath at the end of the day or to take a refreshing shower in the shower cubicle to start the day energised. Head outside to the fantastic, sheltered private patio, with its outdoor kitchen boasting a Bluetooth speaker and pizza oven/ BBQ.
