Downstairs, the king-size bedroom provides a restful haven, complete with an en-suite shower room featuring a walk-in shower, basin, and WC. The well-equipped kitchen/diner includes everything needed for home cooking, from an electric oven and hob to a microwave, fridge with ice box, slimline dishwasher, and a coffee maker, ideal for leisurely breakfasts or intimate dinners.

Step outside into the enclosed courtyard garden, where the two-seater hot tub invites you to unwind under the open sky, surrounded by the gentle ambiance of the coast. Just a short walk from the cottage, you’ll find shops and pubs for everyday essentials or a relaxed meal out.

The nearby Westward Ho! Beach, just over a mile away, offers two miles of sandy shoreline, perfect for sunbathing, surfing, or kite surfing.

There's even a designated dog-friendly area so your four-legged companion can join the fun. For those who love the outdoors, the area is rich with walking and cycling routes.

Explore Kipling Tors, set off on the scenic Tarka Trail through nearby Bideford, or rent equipment, including dog buggies, for a more adventurous day out. As well as gorgeous scenery, picnic areas and plenty of space for children to play the park offers a Play Area, Tea Room serving local produce, a Petting Zoo where little ones will love meeting the affectionate animals and Nature tTails. Combe Martin Wildlife and Dinosaur Park - EX34 0NG

Combe Martin Wildlife and Dinosaur Park  is a big hit with families and has a wonderful setting within 26 acres of Sub Tropical grounds. During a stroll around the site you will encounter so of the worlds most endangered animals and also take a peek back to prehistoric times when Dinosaurs roamed the earth. The park is home to the worlds only full size animatronic Tyrannosaurus Rex as well as Lions, Wolves, Sea Lions, Meerkats and many other species, Top attractions include the amazing Sea Lion Shows, Falconry Display and Sea Lion Swims.
Exmoor Zoo - EX31 4SG

Exmoor Zoo is described as a "family zoo" on their website and it certainly makes a great day out for families.  There are many exotic and rare animals as well as birds to see which are living in natural surroundings.  Some recent improvements at the zoo include a new 5 metre tower at the cheetahs and raised walkways at the "beast".  There is also a new viewing platform over the sitatunga.  As well as the amazing animals to experience there are regular fun activities such as face painting, daily events and zoo trails.

Dingles Steam Village is an all weather attraction crammed with activities for the whole family to enjoy. The site has a wonderful Café serving home cooked meals, a fun Soft Play Area for younger children, an Agility Course for older kids and several Nature Trails for the family to explore together. The site also displays working and static exhibits of Steam Engines as well as old Fairground Rides so is educational as well as fun!
