Just off the kitchen, the sitting room provides a comforting space to relax, with a TV featuring Sky and a DVD player for your entertainment. Outside, the enclosed front garden offers a peaceful retreat to enjoy the fresh air.

You'll find a charming patio area with seating, perfect for al fresco dining or sipping your morning coffee. The lawn offers a secure space for children to run around, while the hot tub beckons you to unwind and soak in the evening air beneath the stars.

The star of the show is undoubtedly the private swimming pool where you can enjoy a leisurely swim under the sun any time you wish! The lodge boasts six well-appointed bedrooms, offering a flexible sleeping arrangement to suit all types of groups.

The first bedroom features a king-size bed, while two additional rooms offer pleasant double beds. A single bedroom provides further sleeping space, with the added option of two settees for extra guests.

For larger groups or families, there is a family room with a double bed and three single beds, complete with an en-suite. Another family room houses four bunk beds, perfect for children or friends sharing.

A separate shower room ensures there is ample space for everyone to prepare for the day ahead. A convenient cloakroom with a basin and WC is also available.

Rhondda Heritage Park - CF37 2NP

Rhondda Heritage Park is located at the former Lewis Merthyr Colliery and is a popular attraction with a range of facilities including a visitor centre, an art gallery, a gift shop, and a lovely period re-constructed Village Street.  Fully guided tours are available and include multimedia presentations as well as a unique trip underground where visitors will experience the life of a coal miner. The site also boasts a children's play area and an underground experience zone.
