Lovely house, smart and homely. Kitchen area was our focus and the hot tub! We had a lovely couple of days relaxing and dog walking.
Donna
Fantastic house, stylishly decorated and very well equipped. Hot tub was most welcome. Right on the edge of a trail and a few minutes walk down to Cromford Mills and the town. Secure courtyard for dogs and children to play. Just needed more storage for clothes, boots and coats.
Jan
This is a lovely house and we enjoyed our time in Cromford. However the house is marketed for 8 people and the only place 8 can sit comfortably is in the dining room. There is no hanging space in the conversion and only one wardrobe to share between 3 bedrooms in the house. Great parking for numerous cars. Kitchen is well equipped.
Anne
Beautiful house, great location for visiting the area. Bit noisy by the A6. Lovely furnishings, kitchen and bathroom, loved the hot tub. Somewhere to dry towels, swimsuits and coats rather lacking. Fabulous property which has been refurbished to a very high standard. Great kitchen and enclosed courtyard safe for the dogs which is sunny all day. Annexe is ideal if travelling in a group.

Great option if you want to meet up with family and friends with multiple dogs! Great location with walks from the door and easy access to pubs, shops and restaurants in Cromford. Property is recently renovated so great condition throughout. Hot tub is an absolute bonus and the enclosed courtyard is sunny and sheltered.

Kim
What a great find. A lovely well appointed cottage which was just perfect for celebrating our daughter's birthday. The beds were very comfy and the hot tub was an added bonus. Would definitely stay again and would recommend to others.
Susan
On arrival the heating was on and the cottage was immaculately clean, felt so welcoming. Kitchen was fully equipped with all we needed and the dining room was lovely to sit and eat together. The bedrooms were comfortable and the lounge including logs for the fire was a lovely touch. Wed definitely stay here again in the summer months and explore mo re of the local area. The owners were communicative, helpful and understanding. Well see you in 2023 (Family of 8 and dogs)
Julie
Great location, though pretty noisy from all the nearby quarry lorries thundering up and down on the A6. Layout great with hot tub in rear garden and all enclosed for your pets. Small annexe/bedroom with shower and TV was great for the not so mobile of the group, only downside was the bed was pretty hard and lumpy in the middle as some of the under neath slates missing. Kitchen was lovely, fridge a bit small for x8 adults worth of supplies, but the added wine drink chiller helped with storage.
Marilyn
An information folder with relevant Instructions re Recycling, heating , nearest shops, pubs, opening times.
Gemma
The propery was lovely but as previous comments also felt a few tweaks would make it 10/10 Considering its an area getting on out walks the house had little to no storage for clothes, coats, boots and shoes. Bins and mirrors in all the bedrooms would have been a lovely touch. The Wifi was very poor, which meant watching TV / Films in the evening wa s a major struggle, especially after long day taking the dogs out but the use of the hot tub in the evening was a dream - very relaxing
Louise
The house is beautiful, perfect location for exploring the local area. We loved it but felt a few tweaks would make it 10/10! Considering its an area for hiking the house had no coat hooks or place to store boots and shoes. Bins and mirrors in all the bedrooms would have been good. The house is on the main A6 route so quite noisy at night especiall y with the windows open. Overall we had a great holiday, oak hill hotel over the road was a lovely surprise for dinners and drinks too.
Terry
We had a great time at this holiday home. The hot tub made our evenings so much more relaxing after some very long dog-walking days over the Peaks. The rooms were ample and very well maintained and quite luxurious. and the beds are very comfortable. The location was super, with hills and walks right on our doorstep.
Jennifer
A lovely spacious property, well positioned for exploring the Peak District. All the rooms are a good size and it can accommodate 8 adults easily. The only down side is the location of the house which is very close to the main A6 and therefore the traffic noise does have an impact. However, the hot tub and patio area are the far side of the house s o the noise is much less noticeable.
Jane
Great location for dog walks from the door in stunning woodlands (but house is right next to busy / noisy A road) Lovely bathrooms / kitchen (but property rather dark inside) Good spot to explore the Dales, and Cromford itself is really great. Couple of issues on arrival, quickly sorted out.
Ruth
10/10 for a fabulous property. All modern appliances, very dog friendly. Beds were so comfortable. I suffer with a bad back, but no issues at all. Cleaning products available and dishwasher tablets. Lawn area is a great size. We did not use though as the patio area was suffice t for our needs. You are on the main intake lane walk which leads to hig h peak trail. From here you can get to other areas. Village is less than 5 minutes away. Lots of shops and great back street pubs that will do a meal
Andrew
Great cottage in a great location for walking and close to amenities. Well laid out property , very clean and tidy. Beautifully decorated
Karen
Great location, very clean and beds super comfortable. Plenty of room in lounge and thoroughly enjoyed the perk of hot tub.
Sharon
Beautiful house and hot tub in a lovely part of England. Safe back yard for dogs. The house has been very tastefully decorated and is immaculate. Lots of space for cars and parking, pubs walking distance in the lovely village of Cromford.
Victoria
Beautiful property, great quality finishes and beds. Location perfect for exploring Derbyshire. Would highly recommend.
Samantha
We had a fab short break here as a group of 8. The house is well equipped, has been beautifully decorated to a very high standard and we loved having a hot tub! We enjoyed walking in the surrounding area along the canal, and had a lovely lunch in pretty Matlock Bath which is a short drive away. Owners were communicative and welcoming. Many thanks!
Dawn
As a family of six we spent a wonderful weekend celebrating my husband's 60th birthday at the stunning Arkrights Manor. The cottage has been finished to an extremely high standard with beautiful pieces of furniture, comfortable beds and luxury bedding and towels. The kitchen was very well equipped and we made full use of the hot tub and barbecue th roughout our stay. The location is ideal within a short walking distance of the village of Cromford with it's pubs, shops and places of interest.
