Letton is a small Herefordshire village, situated on the River Arrow and surrounded by beautiful countryside. Popular with walkers and hikers wanting to explore the Black Mountains, Elan Valley and Shropshire Hills with outstanding scenery no matter what the time of year. Just a short drive away is large farm shop providing local produce from the area. There are many traditional Herefordshire villages and market towns to explore including Kington a historic town on the trail of the Offa’s Dyke foot path (7. 5 Miles) and Hay-on-Wye set on the Welsh Border on the banks of the River Wye, famous for its book festival and weekly produce market (10 Miles). About The Alpaca Lookout

Just a short drive away is large farm shop providing local produce from the area. There are many traditional Herefordshire villages and market towns to explore including Kington a historic town on the trail of the Offa’s Dyke foot path (7.5 Miles) and Hay-on-Wye set on the Welsh Border on the banks of the River Wye, famous for its book festival and weekly produce market (10 Miles).

You can access multiple National Trust properties including The Weir Gardens, Croft Castle and Berrington Hall to name a few. Other places of interest include Arthur’s Stone, Brobury House Gardens and Mocca’s Park Nature Reserve all within 10 miles.

Herefordshire hosts a vibrant calendar of festivals that run throughout the year such as The Three Choirs and the Kington Walking Festival. Step outside onto the wooden terrace, where you’ll find seating for two and a hot tub, ideal for unwinding while enjoying the tranquil surroundings overlooking the Alpaca field in the distance. Queenswood Country Park - HR6 0PY

Queenswood Country Park has a stunning location offering panoramic views of the countryside. The area is abundant with wildlife and you can see how many species you can spot while enjoying the nature trails. The park also has a large children play area and a licensed café. Seasonal activities can be enjoyed during school holidays and at peak times of the year including Halloween events and crafting sessions as well as ranger led walks.
Lama Trekking at Old king Street Farm - NP16 6AA

Cantref Adventure Farm offers hours of indoor and outdoor fun for the whole family. Inside there is a huge soft play area with a separate area for toddlers as well as ball pools, climbing frames, slides and chutes. The Cannon balls are a big hit with children of all ages. New for 2010 is the Badgers quest interactive maze. Outside there is a play area, large boating lake with paddle boats, nature trails with clues and quizzes and an agility course. At only £29.00 for a family of 4 the park offers outstanding value for money.
Puzzlewood - GL16 8QB

Puzzlewood is a somewhat unique attraction within the beautiful Forest of Dean. Visitors can explore the mile of pathways passing over wooden bridges and through some stunning tree and rock formations. The maze of pathways are quite enchanting and the site has recently been used as a location for the BBC1 production of Merlin. While enjoying the splendour of nature there are many types of wildlife to meet along the way including Shetland ponies, Donkeys and Highland Cattle. A Hocus Pokus Halloween event takes place from the 24th to the 31st of October.
