Long View Reviews

Emma
Really enjoyed our stay! The house was spacious, well-equipped, with plenty of plates and glasses. The location was spot on. Would definitely recommend it!
George
The house was really lovely, super comfy and well kitted out. The views are absolutely stunningand there’s plenty of local shops nearby. The main road gets quite busy during the day, so you’ve got to watch out with dogs and little ones. The steps up might be tricky for some, but overall, an easy spot to get to. Despite the Scottish weather, everyone had a great time celebrating a big birthday, so thanks for that!
Helen
The cottage is spacious, well-equippedand offers stunning views-perfect for bigger groups, we loved it!
Mark
The location is spot-on, with stunning views and easy access. We loved exploring the nearby mountains and scenery. The hot tub was definitely a highlight for us, such a nice touch!
Jamie
We had an awesome time at the property! The hot tub was fantastic after a day exploringand the views really are breathtaking. The location is perfectand the swing in the garden was a lovely touch. We loved everything so much that we've already booked for next year. The village inn and shop made everything even better. Can't wait to return!
James
We had a lovely stay here! The place is super spacious, perfect for big groupsand the kitchen was stocked with plenty of useful utensils-made cooking a breeze. It was really clean and nicely presented, plus the welcome pack with snacks and wine was a thoughtful touch. The views of Loch Long and the mountains are simply stunning. Just a heads up, you’ll need a car to get around, as it’s a bit remote, but overall, a great spot!
Emma
The place is gorgeous, lots of space for a big get-togetherand the setting is stunning. Everything you could possibly need is provided, making it super convenient!
James
Really loved the stay
Emily
We booked this place last minute, just called in the morning and travelled that very day. Tony, one of the owners, was a pleasure to speak with and very helpful. The cottage was perfect for us-spacious enough for our four kids, aged 21, 18, 15and 12, plus their partners. The views were absolutely stunning and the size of the rooms was just right. Be aware, there’s a steep hill from the road up to the house, so it might be tricky for anyone unsteady on their feet. The lovely hamper left for us was a lovely surprise-we really enjoyed our stay!
Emma Carter
We really enjoyed our stay here! The house felt super cosy and welcoming from the moment we arrived. The safety of the garden was a huge relief, especially with the dogs. The utility room had everything we neededand the instructions were clear. And that hot tub? Absolutely fantastic - perfect temperature, lovely towelsand gorgeous views. Honestly, one of the best hot tubs we've ever used. Thanks, Hide!
Emma
What a fantastic place! The house is huge and beautifully decorated for Christmas, with a lovely well-stocked kitchen. The hot tub, overlooking the loch and hills, was definitely the highlight. We had an unforgettable holiday, really loved it!
Emma
The house was super comfyand the hot tub totally made our stay. Loved it!
Emma Collins
We loved our stay here! The location is stunning, just a short walk to Loch Longand the view is simply breathtaking. It’s great for dog owners with outside taps to wash the dogs, which was handy. The jacuzzi was perfect for unwinding after a day outand the rooms are spacious with all the modern bits you need. Everything was spotlessand the large TV with Sky meant cosy nights in. Definitely recommend and will be coming back!
Oliver
Beautiful house, fantastic views, perfect location, we loved it here!
Emma
We really enjoyed our stay at this lovely cottage. The scenery was absolutely gorgeousand the decking offered amazing views. Luckily, the weather was perfect for early September! The garden was a good size, secureand great for pets. It’s a perfect spot for exploring the local countryside and nearby attractions.
James
The place offers stunning views of the Cobbler and nearby hills, which is really lovely. The hot-tub is a nice touchand it’s super clean and roomy. Perfect spot for exploring, though local eateries are a bit simple, but Loch Fyne Oyster bar is just a short drive away for a nice lunch.
Emily
The entrance has quite a few steps, which can be tricky. The garden isn’t very secure for pets or kids. The house is lovely but could do with some upkeep. We also didn’t get much help with our questions, which was a letdown.
Samir
We loved the place! The hot tub overlooking the stunning scenery is a real highlight, whatever the weather. Perfect spot for exploring nearby attractions. Definitely recommend and thanks a lot for a great stay!
Emma
We really enjoyed our stay! The house is gorgeous and has everything you need, perfect for big family get-togethers with plenty of space. Be warned though, there are quite a few steps, so it might not be suitable for less mobile guests. The hot tub was a bit tricky since there’s no temperature gauge, so we couldn’t lower the heat. We were a little disappointed that the issue with one of the en-suites wasn’t acknowledged, but it didn’t ruin our holiday. The views are stunning and we’d definitely come back to explore more!
James
The house was stunning, really well furnished and comfy beds. The open fire was lovely on chilly evenings. We especially appreciated the fenced garden, perfect for keeping the dogs safe while we relaxed outside.
