Dorset Cottage Reviews

Laura
We had a fantastic time at this charming old farmhouse. It’s really cosy and warm, perfect for a relaxing break. The views across the fields are stunning and super peaceful. The hot tub was a real highlight, even in November we made good use of it! Plus, the trampoline was a nice surprise. Great spot, not far from the coastand we'd happily return anytime. Really loved it!
Sam
We had such a lovely stay! The view was absolutely stunningand the house itself was really comfortable. Switching all the beds to singles was a big bonus for us. The garden was perfect with the hot tub, trampolineand ping pong - kids loved it! The slope meant no cricket, but plenty of football instead. Walking to the pub is possible, but often it’s closed on the way back, so most places are a car ride away. Dorset truly is a beautiful county with peaceful spots if you explore a bit.
Emma
The cottage was lovely, with stunning views and super comfy, spotless bedrooms. The big dining table was great for family dinners. Kids loved the trampoline and ping pong!

We had a lovely stay! The farmhouse was super cosy and had everything we needed. The location was just stunning, with amazing views and a really peaceful vibe. The enclosed garden was perfect for our two setters and the kids loved the trampoline and table tennis. Even with the unpredictable weather, we made good use of the hot tub. There’s so much to explore nearby, a week honestly flew by. Thanks for a fantastic week, we’ll definitely be back!

From the moment we arrived at Dorset Cottage, we felt right at home. The place is spacious enough for a big family but still feels cosy and inviting. The layout makes everything easy to find and useand the decor is spot on. The garden is beautifully maintained with a view that’s truly breathtaking. We loved relaxing in the hot tub, playing Frisbeeand exploring the stunning countryside. It’s honestly a perfect getaway!

We stayed at this lovely farmhouse and loved how spacious it was. The bedrooms were super comfyand the kitchen had all the essentials plus some nice welcoming touches. The big round dining table was perfect for meals, though a bit large for board games. The hot tub with that stunning view is a must-try, especially at sunset. Overall, a fantastic getaway!
Emma
We loved the house’s prime spot and how well it was furnished-really good quality everywhere. It’s a bonus having plenty of glasses, crockeryand cutlery, way more than usual. Definitely recommend! The Spyway Inn is a must, lovely staff and tasty food too.
Emma
The cottage is gorgeous and fully stocked with everything you might need. We loved it! Just a heads up, the lane to the farmhouse can flood if it’s bad weather, so mind your car.

We had a lovely stay at Bilshay Farmhouse! It’s great for families with different ages, plenty of space for three families like ours - 6 adults and 3 kids. Despite the unpredictable weather, the kids loved the hot tub, trampolineand games room. The location is peaceful and handy for exploring Bridport and nearby spots. Any minor issues we had were sorted out swiftly by Trevor and Sam. Thanks a lot for a great break!
Emma
We had such a lovely time at the cottage. The bedrooms were really spacious and it felt super cosy despite being a large property. The views and outdoor space were gorgeous. Honestly didn't want to leave - perfect spot for celebrating my dad's surprise 60th birthday!

We loved the location and the overall stay was really enjoyable. A few bits like the washing machine and cutlery holder need fixing, but it didn’t ruin our holiday at all!
Emma
The house was truly lovelyand the garden with countryside views was breathtaking. Plenty of gear for our group of nineand nearby towns and beaches were easily accessible. We really enjoyed it!
Emma Clarke
The farmhouse was super cosy and had stunning views, perfect for relaxing. We loved being near Bridport and the coast. Sadly, the hot tub was a bit dirty at first, but it got sorted after a few days.
Emma
Lovely peaceful cottage, just a short walk to a fantastic cafe. We’d definitely come again!
Emma Clarke
We really enjoyed our stay at this lovely cottage! The setting is stunning and peaceful, perfect for a relaxing weekend. The house itself is beautifully decorated and super cosy, especially on a chilly January day. The hot tub was a highlight, nice and warm, though a bit tricky to adjust. We did have some trouble with water pressure, which meant showers and flushing weren’t always smooth, likely because of the rural location and spring-fed water. Still, overall a lovely place to unwind!
Emma
We had a lovely week over Christmas with nine of us. The farmhouse was gorgeous, with breathtaking views of the countryside. The hot tub was a real highlightand the beds were super comfy. The nearby pub served delicious food too.
Emma
We loved the spacious house and the serene setting. Perfect for relaxing after long walks, especially with the hot tub! You’ll need a car to really see the area or find somewhere to eat, but it’s a lovely spot overall.
