Aurora Reviews

I enjoyed my holiday wirh my little dog very much. The bungalow was very clean and comfortable. I found the patio doors in the lounge and bedroom very difficult to open with the keys, they need some attention. It would be very useful to have a shower mat and grab rail in the bath for an elderly person like myself.
Lovely bungalow to relax in, well furnished and very comfortable. Aurora is situated down a quiet cul de sac in a very scenic setting, with stunning views from the living room and kitchen windows. The garden is beautiful and spacious with different areas to sit out and enjoy it. We thoroughly enjoyed our time both at Aurora and in Anglesey itself which is absolutely beautiful!!

This is our second visit to Aurora and Im sure we will book again as it suits our needs completely. Large secure garden for the dog and Aurora is very well equipped. Lovely. As in my previous review, some more ambient lighting or a dimmer switch in the lounge would be nice and an anti slip mat for the bath. Some basic cleaning products toilet gel, sink cleaner would be useful otherwise everything was fine and well look forward to our next visit.

Great property safe secure garden area for my dogs. close to secluded beaches and great scenery. The position was perfect close to shops and easy access to other areas of Wales. Ticked all the boxes
We had a very lovely and relaxing time at Aurora. The owners were on hand for any questions

We have just had a lovely holiday in Aurora in Anglesey. The property was immaculately presented and the enclosed garden was a huge bonus for the dog. It was very well equipped including everything you need to clean the property properly before leaving. We will be certainly be booking again shortly for next year. I agree with previous reviews that some more ambient lighting in the lounge would be nice for evenings or a dimmer switch for the main light which is very bright. An antislip mat for the bath or another grab rail on the wall would be beneficial for us oldies getting in and out of the shower. These are minor observations as the owners have certainly done everything else to ensure that every comfort is provided. The welcome bottle of wine was much appreciated, thank you.
Our third or fourth stay at Aurora, all kitchen equipment you could need & more! Gardens maintained very well. Small cosy bungalow, short 10 min stroll to the beach, second bedroom could do with a ziplink bed to allow for 2 singles or a double if preferred. Cushions & pillows need replacing, extra lighting in lounge would be good. Overall a good stay & hot tub is a bonus, extra charge but worth it if staying for a week.

We have had a lovely time at Aurora. Nice bottle of wine as welcome pack. Accommodation is good with an excellent garden. The only real disappointment was the tv in the living room was not a smart tv, so had to go to the bedroom to watch tv. Could only access the garden from the bedroom as key didnt work in the doors from the living room. We had one night of very heavy rain and water leek through kitchen door over the floor and under the cooker.
On arrival as none pet owners we were aware the property had been used by pets . The property was clean and well appointed. It's situated at the end of a quite cul de sac. The gardens were private and nice to sit in. Everything was as per the listing and we had a great week there. It's in a good location to explore Anglesey.

Fantastic property ,loverly location everything you need . Two little things that could make it perfect . Needs a bigger fridge freezer . And the cookerneeds replacing young children touch everything and this oven gets hot all over .
Great bungalow in a beautiful location. Very well equipped with everything you need and more apart from a mop and bucket or something to clean the floor . My only critique would be to replace the sealant around the bath and sink . We had a great time and if in the area again would definitely stay again.

The Bungalow was well equipped for our stay, the location was great, five minutes from all amenities . The gardens were beautiful, peaceful and quiet. The Welcome card and bottle of wine was a lovely touch. We enjoyed our stay and will be returning in the future.
Robert
Great holiday property and excellent location to the beach. Beach an local amenities and places to eat all within walking distance. Walk to beach less than 10 minutes or less than 5 minute drive. Quiet end of cul de sac location. Both double and twin rooms are a good size and comfortable beds. All kitchen utilities we needed are supplied. Good size front, side and rear garden and own driveway right next to side door into kitchen. Decking wraps round from back garden accessible from double room french doors to the side garden where the hot tub is located along with a shower tray to rinse off. The shed has lots of garden and beach toys as well as a couple of wind breaks for the beach. I would highly recommend this property for either couples or family and dog friendly. Great for a beach holiday, cycling and rambling or just a relaxing holiday. Just for information and not to take anything away from a lovely holiday property, it doesn't have a dishwasher everything for washing up is supplied. There is an RAF base a few miles away so you do get the occasional RAF planes come over but being a plane enthusiast, I enjoyed watching them. No night time flying.
Lovely well equipped cottage, we enjoyed our stay here and the kids loved having their own 'playground '.
Loved the bungalow, great garden. Very comfortable and clean. Easy to walk to beach. Would love to again
A lovely bungalow with a warm welcome. Lots of provisions for anyone taking young children and a beautiful garden. We had good weather and enjoyed the outdoor space very much and liked the proximity to the stunning coast. Plenty of walking opportunities and 5 minutes away from supermarkets. Would definitely recommend the cottage.
Our second stay at Aurora, loved it! So safe for the dogs in the enclosed garden. Everything you need is there, home from home. Days on the beach, we had a few days of good weather, so lots of walking. Then we could relax in the hot tub when we returned! Fabulous, 5 star. Hope to book again soon!
The bungalow was perfect. Nice bits to make it feel like home from home . Kitchen provided absolutely everything that you could possible need & more. The welcome wine was a lovely gesture . The garden was perfect for the dogs as all enclosed unfortunately we didnt manage to use hot tub but looked very inviting . Decking just needs some TLC & lighting on fences not working. Which you wouldnt have known Already looking at dates for booking again next year . Thank you very much Deb,Dee & the woofs
We had a great stay at Aurora in August. The house was clean and comfortable. Only a few little negatives which were sorted by the owner who was a great help. Unfortunately Sykes were a nightmare to get hold of. Of no use whatsoever.
Andrew
Lovely bungalow in a quiet residential part of Trearddur . Well equipped . Very well suited for families with young children . Slide and swings in the garden and an amazing array of childrens toys for the garden and beach . Lovely large garden completely enclosed so safe for children and for our dog . Beautiful hot tub . 20 mins walk from the bay and pubs restaurant Easy to drive to lots of beautiful beaches and coastline
We found the bungalow extremely well equipped and it would meet most people's needs eg, larged fenced garden abundance of toys and play equipment out and in,although for two elderly pensioners this was not used! Having been dog owners until recently this meets people's needs. The only advice would suggest is clearer guidance about the bin system, for our rubbish.
Comfy property. Felt at home.hot tub brilliant and play area fab for the kids.1 mile walk to beach.lovely and quiet
Steven
The Aurora turned out to be the perfect holiday property for our week's stay. Located in a quiet area and having beautiful enclosed gardens it was ideal for us and our little dog. The owner has made every effort to ensure a comfortable stay. We look forward to returning again for a future holiday.
Really great stay, owners have gone to a lot of trouble to make it child friendly with toys and games inside and outside. Very comfortable and clean place, super location to get to good local places like South Stack. Only a 10 minute walk to a lovely beach, great for the dog walks, a local shop and a nice pubrestaurant the Sea Shanty. We booked from a recommendation and would stay again.
Steven
We loved our stay at the Aurora it had everything you needed, we enjoyed our stay, but would recommend more lighting around the hot tub .
Yvonne
Another fabulous fortnight spent at Aurora! We love staying here, it has everything we need and is really comfortable. Lovely walks and historical places to visit all around Trearddur Bay, Holy Island and Anglesey and nice places to eat without travelling too far.
Sheila
A lovely bungalow with everything you could need wouldnt hesitate to go back
Such a beautiful property in a very quiet road with an enclosed garden perfect for our dogs. The bungalow was very clean and well maintained, nice touches, like the garden shed full of everything we needed to either play in the garden or a trip to the beach, which is a 2 minute drive or less than a 10 minute walk. Was lucky enough to meet the owner and his passion and enthusiasm to make everyones holiday very special, means this property will only get better and better. Best Sykes property weve been to 1010
Lovely well equipped holiday home, well maintained fabulous garden and hot tub all within walking distance of beach, shops and restaurants. We would definitely love to return.
I must say, that this is the best holiday home that we have stayed in,and we have stayed in a few. It is situated in a nice quiet area. It was spotlessly clean, had everything that you needed. The hot tub was amazing.Dogs enjoyed the garden, not far from the supermarkets. The only thing that I would suggest, when we were reading through the info book, there was no phone number of a vet,we didn't need one,but it could be handy. Thankyou for the lovely stay in a beautiful home.
Super property , well maintained , location in a nice quiet road around 15 mins walk from Treaddur Bay and Holyhead supermarkets. The area is very good for walking with great bays and coves to explore Would recommend
We had a lovely stay in Aurora cottage. The cottage was great and had everything we needed. The garden was fab totally enclosed so safe for the dog. We really enjoyed the hot tub too. It was in a great spot, close to shops and the beach. We spent a lot of time on the amazing beach and little coves close by. We will book again.
Caroline
This cottage met our expectations and more, we have a 3year old and 6 year old and this place was just perfect for little ones, the garden was just incredible and super safe with it being enclosed, the hot tub, play frame and shed full of kids garden toys was the added bonus. We will definitely be booking again. Inside felt like home from home it had everything we needed and more. All in all the best place we have ever stayed at!
Shirley
We had a truly amazing holiday this bungalow had everything we needed it was clean and comfortable the garden is a dream for children and adults and we made good use of the hot tub. Overall a fab property and we hope to return next year.
Kirsty
Aurora was a beautiful house to stay in, it was spotlessly clean when we arrived and it did not disappoint. The garden was gorgeous and the hot tub was fantastic. The area it's in is very quiet and is only a short walk to Trearddur bay beach, which is one of the nicest beaches I've ever visited, we took our dog and visited just the side of the beach for dogs and it was lovely, the sea was so clear. Would definatly stay again.
Most important things were fine but a few minor things to add to them were a shower mat for getting a shower bath very slippery we bought one, lots of children's toys and videos but not a lot for adults such as books especially about the island, some ref books about walks & places to go a pen would have been useful. a multy spray & cloth would have been ok to clean worktops and sink. Not complaining just a suggestion.
Yvonne
We spent another fabulous fortnight at Aurora and would definitely like to return. The place was warm and inviting when we arrived and had everything we needed for an enjoyable stay. The owners were really helpful and we felt privileged to stay in their lovely bungalow.
This is a lovely bungalow in a quiet road, it was very clean, little lad enjoyed ... This is a lovely bungalow in a quiet road, it was very clean, little lad enjoyed playing on the swing and couldnt get him out of the hot tub, would definitely recommend this place you wont be disappointed
