Cae Du Reviews

Steven
An absolutely beautiful house in a stunning, secluded countryside location with breathtaking views. The house was beautifully decorated, and incredibly comfortable it felt like a real home away from home. We loved the peace and quiet, and waking up to the wonderful scenery each morning was unforgettable. A perfect place to relax and unwind in Anglesey. We would highly recommend it and would love to return!
Claire
Wonderful week in the most beautiful property. The setting is so beautiful with stunning views, very peaceful setting to enjoy the gorgeous grounds and hot tub from. Well placed to visit the stunning Newborough beach, Aberffraw and Rhosneigr beaches. The house itself is stunning with the most well stocked kitchen we have ever had in a holiday let. All slept extremely well in very comfortable beds, just missing curtainsblinds in the master suite, the huge window is stunning but the early wake up call was annoying!! Truly stunning place far exceeded what the photographs show online. We would not hesitate to stay again, in fact we tried to rebook for the same week next year but sadly it is unavailable.
Lovely property in a fabulous location. Wonderful view from windows and so peaceful and quiet. Beautiful garden. Have holidayed with Sykes many times and have to say Cae Du is the best property we have stayed in
Nicola

Absolutely amazing property in beautiful surroundings the outside space is perfect with stunning views and wild life plus a safe space for kids to play and enjoy. We couldn't afford to pay the extra for the hot tub but I'm sure that would be amazing in that setting of we had! We stayed 1 week in April with 3 kids, 2 parents and 3 grandparents and had a wonderful time in this lovely house. It's tricky to find so I would recommend getting, and using, the what three words to direct you but it's worth it when you get to the end of the path and see the stunning property! There was plenty of space for all but it still felt cosy and homely. There's a massive air fryer which was really helpful and lots of fridge space. The kids loved the games room! The highlights were Newborough Beach and Llanddwyn Island 10 mins away, bikes from Anglesey bike hire and cycling the newborough forest trails and surrounding area, Eglwys Cwyfan church in the sea and South Stack lighthouse get there early to park, great cafe and do the lighthouse tour if you can. The fish and chips from The Codmother in Newborough are highly recommended too! Relaxing by the wood burning stove with a glass of wine was the perfect end to these fantastic days out!
The house was wonderful, very roomy with excellent facilities. It was lovely to have a hot tub and even though the weather was poor we were still able to use it when it stopped raining! The setting was perfect for us the dogs loved playing in the garden and were safe. I can highly recommend this property.

Brilliant accomodation, amazing house, so well equipped, could not find a fault. ... We all loved it
Wow what a beautiful property in a stunning location, so private. All the family said how comfortable the beds were. All the facilities were amazing, and top quality, good quality linen and towels, sharp knives best I have know in a rental property. Everything has been thought of to make this a special place for all ages. We all enjoyed the hot tub. There were a couple of minor things like the shower tray in the main bathroom filling up , however I manage to clean the plug out and plunged it which helped. We would definitely return.

If youre after a relaxing family holiday away from it all look no further. Cae Du is a beautiful secluded spot perfect to explore beautiful Anglesey. We happily accommodated 4 adults, 4 children and our dog. Our weather was hit and miss but the facilities at Cae Du allowed the children to occupy themselves without any moaning. The owners were fantastic with a queries we had via email. Would definitely recommend and cant wait to book again.

Fabulous house. ...very spacious....high quality fixtures and fittings....loved the hot tub used it every day!.....quiet location with wonderful views.....the owners have thought of everything needed to provide a stress free holiday One concern is the water can be extremely hot ...we have mentioned this in the house keeping book Otherwise we had the perfect holiday....thank you!
This was an absolutely amazing holiday home. We have stayed in many many properties over the years both home and abroad but this was the pinnacle and everything else will pale from now on. The owners have thought of everything. We took advantage of hottub, pizza oven and bbq and the whole family were superimpressed and want to return for longer than the three days. One suggestion would be to make it clear that the cot is a small travel cot not suitable for a larger baby. We found going through the agent to try to find out about this was arduous. We ended up taking our own full sized cot just in case and it was lucky we did as the one at the property is rather small. But congratulations on providing everything for a superb stay. Oh yes, and we all loved Herbie, the lawnmower garden pet.. what a busy lad!
Absolutely amazing property the pictures don't do it justice will definitely return

Wow! What can we say! ? The photos don't do this holiday property justice!! This is one of the most impressive, beautiful houses we have stayed at. We had such a wonderful stay here. The owners have thought about everything you need and more, to make your stay there comfortable and enjoyable. The house itself is huge! Facilities are plentiful and great, especially the kitchen. Entertainment is thought of... loads of books. Smart TV with BT TV, good WiFi throughout. Siri is on hand for music! Outdoor games, board games etc. There's a bbq and pizza oven too. For babies, there is a highchair and a fixed stairgate at the top of the stairs. We bought our own travel cot. The hot tub is lovely. The games room is a great addition, especially for children. The grounds are impressive, safe and secure for children and pets. Plenty of space to run around and to enjoy. The location is secluded but not isolated. Being on Anglesey you're never more than half an hour from somewhere interesting to visit. The closest beach isn't far away by car. Thank you for a wonderful stay. We would definitely come again!
