About Lily Lodge

Set within private grounds on a historic working farm dating back to 1620 in the North Suffolk countryside, this comfortable one-bedroom lodge is a soothing escape for couples who love life’s little luxuries. You’ll have countryside walks from the door, the ease of an on-site shop for treats, and peaceful, wide-open skies by night.

When you’re ready to explore, scale the ramparts at Framlingham Castle (8.5 miles), hop aboard heritage carriages at the Mid-Suffolk Light Railway (9.5 miles), or browse family attractions and independent outlets at a popular shopping village (11 miles). The Suffolk coast is also within 25 miles for breezy beach wanders and fresh seafood.

Step inside to an inviting open-plan living, kitchen and dining space made for laid-back days and cosy evenings. Settle into comfortable seating in front of the remote-controlled electric fire and enjoy a film on the Smart TV, or linger over long dinners at the dining table.

The king-size bedroom is a standout feature, with a wing-back bed and a free-standing bath with a floor-mounted waterfall tap for slow, indulgent soaks. A separate shower room offers a refreshing start to the day with a walk-in shower, and a private sauna elevates your stay with spa-style downtime.

There is additional sleeping for two on the double sofa bed in the lounge area, should you need it. Outside, a gated veranda provides a private spot to savour morning coffees and al fresco suppers on the outdoor seating.

The hot tub is sunken into the veranda for easy, sheltered dips, whatever the weather, and BBQs are available to hire for flame-kissed feasts. You’ll be surrounded by the landscapes of a working farm, adding to the sense of rural escape.

Parking is available next to the lodge.
