About Hartcliffe View

Having won a silver Sykes Gem award in 2017 for 'Best for Large Groups', this cottage boasts sumptuous living spaces with granite floors and quality furnishings. The elegant sitting room displays a chess table and a fabulous, hand carved marble fireplace housing a coal-effect gas fire.

There is also a formal dining room and a superb, well-equipped kitchen with granite worktops, breakfast bar and dining table. There are seven wonderful bedrooms ensuring that everyone has the space for some peace and quiet, plus children and adults will love the large games room with leather sofa and bean bags on the second floor and the football pitch in the garden.

Completing the accommodation are four luxurious bathrooms, three of which are en-suites. Outside, is a large rear patio, where you can sit and relax as the children play in safety in the enclosed garden.

The village of Millhouse Green offers a traditional way of life, with a small shop, a good pub and even crown green bowling! Spend some time exploring the beautiful Peak District National Park, visit the popular village of Holmfirth or take a short drive to the cities of Sheffield, Leeds and York, the town of Huddersfield and the Yorkshire Dales National Park.

Located in the Castleford area of West Yorkshire this is a fun family day out with loads of activities under one roof.   For the energetic there is a real snow slop for skiing and rock climbing walls.  For the more laid back then there is a cinema and bowling alley.  This place caters for all ages and there are seasonal events on throughout the year too. The Peak District National Park is the ideal place to relax and explore.  The stunning scenery will take your breath away and there is the opportunity to take part in ranger led guides and events.  These are ideal if you are new to the area or only staying a short time and want to see the best sights and walks.

This is a top class theme park with plenty to do for the whole family.  From thrilling rides to more gentle activities for the little ones this place is ideal.  The best thing is that 50% of their attractions are under cover so the British weather needn't spoil the fun.

This unique attraction combines an array of activities.  If you have a look on their website there are some good video clips which give an even better idea of what this attraction is all about.  Some of the highlights include the Cable Car system which is actually Britain's first alpine style cable car system.  You are transported from the valley floor right up above where you can enjoy superb Dewent Valley Views.  You can also stroll around 60 acres of wooded hillside on foot to see an array of birds and wildlife.

Gulliver's Kingdome is a family friendly theme park offering many attractions for children of all ages. The site is rather unique and features a huge array of rides including log flumes, roller coasters and pirate ships. For the little ones there are rides such as the veteran cars and the balloon wheel and Diego and Dora the Explorer are on hand to make sure they are having a great time. Between the 21st and 31st of October the park becomes a spooky Halloween spectacular with a range of shows and fireworks to enjoy. Standard prices are £12.00 for adults and children over 90cm.
