Reminiscent of a traditional farmhouse, the spacious kitchen/diner will inspire you to whip up something delicious whilst the oak-panelled study featuring another wood burner offers a haven of serenity to retire to. Characterful stone steps lead to the homely lounge which boasts gorgeous ceiling beams and plenty of natural sunlight, setting the scene for pure relaxation.

On the first floor, you’ll find two king-size bedrooms and one twin bedroom that feature delightful views, plus a double bedroom accessed via a separate staircase. Serving the bedrooms and completing the interior are a family bathroom and shower room, as well as two separate WCs.

Outside, dine alfresco on the paved terrace and roast marshmallows over the fire pit as children explore the large lawn. Here, you’ll also find private parking for two cars and a layby opposite the cottage with parking for a further two cars.

Located in the Peak District on the sloping land above the Wye Valley between Buxton and Bakewell, Priestcliffe is surrounded by spectacular countryside and offers keen nature enthusiasts the opportunity to observe an abundance of wildflowers and wildlife. Keen walkers can join a plethora of scenic walks that carve through the Derbyshire countryside from the doorstep; the nearby Millers Dale (3.5 miles) offers access to the Monsal Trail and iconic the Limestone Way 12 miles away.
