Everyone found it super relaxingand we loved being able to visit local landmarks easily. Coming back to a beautiful moonrise and a chilled beer in the hot tub was the perfect end to each day. Lesley and Carl really made our stay special. They were so helpful, even lending us their temperature gun when our baby wasn't feeling great. We loved relaxing in the hot tub after days out exploring the nearby beaches. The garden games and mini golf added a nice touch. Everything's just a quick drive away, making it super convenient. Exmoor Zoo is described as a "family zoo" on their website and it certainly makes a great day out for families.  There are many exotic and rare animals as well as birds to see which are living in natural surroundings.  Some recent improvements at the zoo include a new 5 metre tower at the cheetahs and raised walkways at the "beast".  There is also a new viewing platform over the sitatunga.  As well as the amazing animals to experience there are regular fun activities such as face painting, daily events and zoo trails.
