Bodweni House Reviews

If you love river fishing, this place is hard to beat. The house was super cosy and had everything we needed, including a hot tub which was a real treat. Our only gripe was that a upright hoover would’ve made things easier. It’s our second visit in three yearsand we’re already planning to come back. Definitely recommend ordering your groceries from ASDA since the local shops are pretty limited. Overall, a fantastic week away-can’t wait to return!
Emma
Beautiful spot, really enjoyed our relaxing week away.
Alex

We had a fantastic weekend with our family and friends. We booked the Hall and House for my 60th Birthday celebration. There were lovely hampers waiting for us filled with basic provisions. The kitchen was really well equipped. The outside areas were wonderful and kept everyone entertained, no matter their age. A big thank you to the lovely gentleman who sorted the recycling each day we were there. Definitely recommend!

Bodweni Hall was just right for our big family. It wasn't too posh or fancy that we were worried about letting our teens and little ones run about. There was loads of space and fun activities both inside and outside! The setting was absolutely perfect! We would definitely recommend it for a large family gathering. We had a fantastic time!
Clara
What a brilliant location, we hardly ever needed to leave the site. The lake is absolutely stunning, we enjoyed hours of swimming, kayakingand even brought our paddle board along! Gorgeous walks, picnic tables, barbecues, outdoor seatingand a hot tub meant we really didn’t have much reason to go off the estate. When we did decide to explore, this spot is great because there's so much to do nearby. The cottage has everything you could possibly need and more. We had a fantastic week and are definitely coming back next year!

What a lovely cottage set in wonderful grounds! We were thrilled to find a welcome basket filled with essentials and some sweet treats when we got there. As a three-generation family ranging from 2 to 52, it was perfect for all of us. The kids had a blast running in the field, playing at the parkand skimming stones in the river. We even enjoyed a couple of sunny days out on the canoes and pedalos on the lake! We would happily come back.
