We had a lovely stay here! The place was super peaceful with stunning views, perfect for unwinding. It was really cosy and spacious, with everything we needed - the utility area was a lifesaver for boots and coats. The dogs loved the nearby walks and meeting the calves was a real treat. The hot tub was definitely the best bit, especially on clear nights when we could stargaze. The owner was really helpful too, just a quick call away if we needed anything. Definitely recommend!
Emma
We really enjoyed our time at the watering hole. It’s such a peaceful spot, perfect for unwinding. The location is ideal - close enough to Bala but still tucked away in gorgeous countryside with lovely views. The hot tub was a highlight, we used it most evenings and loved it. The lake is beautiful, but in the mornings, we couldn’t get through because of the cows and calves. Later in the afternoon, it was fine, so just a heads up if you want to visit then. Overall, a lovely place!
Emma

It’s tucked away in a peaceful spot with no neighbours nearby, yet close enough to Bala for meals or shopping. The garden’s secure for the dogs, which really helps us relax. We had a lovely stay at this farmhouse, set in such a peaceful spot with the cows and sheep as neighbours. Plenty of scenic footpaths nearby for exploringand the hot tub was perfect for unwinding after a day out. Bala is just a quick 10-minute drive with all the shops, pubsand takeaways you'd need. The rest of Eryri and the coast are easily reachable within half an hour. Watch out for the occasional low-flying RAF trainer aircraft! The owners are really friendly and available if you need them, but otherwise, they leave you to enjoy your holiday. Great place!
Sophie
What a fabulous farmhouse in a beautiful setting! The views are to die for and the place is so peaceful, yet only a 5-minute drive from Bala. The kitchen is more than well equipped and the rooms are spacious. The whole place was really clean too. We would definitely recommend it!
Claire
We had a fantastic stay at this accommodation, with the most spectacular views! The evenings spent in the hot-tub, having bbqsand enjoying log fires were just perfect. Being on a working farm was a real treat, waking up to cows and their calves, sheepand lots of adorable little lambs. The only downside was that the accommodation was advertised as having a fishing lake, which was one of the reasons we specifically chose this place. Unfortunately, the farmer mentioned there haven't been any fish in the lake for years, which was a bit disappointing. On the plus side, Bala is such a lovely, welcoming town.
Laura
What a beautiful location! The views go on for milesand there are so many walking trails across the rolling hills. Bala is just a short drive away for all the local shops and amenities. The kitchen was really well equipped with everything we needed for a fantastic Christmas dinnerand we even had a lovely Christmas tree set up for us! The grounds were secure, perfect for our two small kids and even smaller dogs. We all had a wonderful time surrounded by stunning views.
Emily
What a fantastic rural spot with loads of space indoors! We really appreciated the privacy and the hot tub was a lovely touch. Our doggies seemed to enjoy it just as much as we did. The house was incredibly well equipped - they really thought of everythingand finding bubbly in the fridge was such a nice surprise. We chatted with the owners a couple of times and they were so friendly. Thanks for having us!
James
We had an absolutely wonderful stay! The cottage was incredible, tucked away in a remote rural part of North Wales. We met the owner and some of their many sheep and cows, which was great! The watering-hole is just a 2-minute walk from the property on the farmland, but it was really great and nicely separated off. Our dogs loved exploring the house and grounds. The hot tub was the icing on top of a lovely chilly Autumn eve!
Emma
What a lovely farmhouse! We had a thoroughly enjoyable week, made even better by its central location. The farmhouse was clean and had loads of space for our group of six. The communication with the vendors before and during our stay was brilliant. Thanks for a wonderful stay!
James
We had a really good holiday here, superb location, peaceful and quiet but easy to get to and from. The hot tub was brilliant. Living room and sofas were comfyand the kitchen was well equipped. Bedrooms were spacious and beds comfy. We enjoyed walking up to the watering hole and surrounding fields watching the cattle, sheep and horses. Beaches were accessible near Barmouth and beyond. Bodnant Gardens is fabulous and there are lots of areas to walk close by. A relaxing holiday was had by the five of us and one dog!
Sarah
The house was lovely and had a really nice atmosphere. There’s loads of crockery and glasses, which is great as you often just get a basic number. The surrounding countryside is beautiful, especially with all the sheep and lambs around!
