Whilst there, be sure to visit Poole's Cavern and Buxton Country Park, where you can tour a mesmerising natural cavern underground, and above ground, try the treetop zip-wire adventure.

History enthusiasts will enjoy a visit to Haddon Hall (8.5 miles), one of the country's best-preserved medieval houses. For avid walkers and cyclists, there are scenic routes from the doorstep as well as trails nearby.

The Monsal Trail can be accessed from Bakewell (6.5 miles) and follows a decommissioned railway for 8.5 miles. Walking up the steps, you will enter a beautiful open-plan space, lovingly crafted on site to provide a relaxing glamping experience.
