Hay Barn Ingleton Reviews

Jamie
We recently stayed at Hay Barn in Ingleton and honestly, it was fantastic. The cottage is a real gem-beautifully restored by Hayley and Jeremy, it looks stunning both outside and inside. The peaceful location away from busy roads, right by the river, adds to the charm. Inside, everything was thoughtfully chosen, from the comfy furniture to the quality linens. Plus, Hayley and Jeremy are genuinely lovely folks. Definitely a place we'd return to without hesitation!

Wow, what a stunning place! The cottage was huge, with breathtaking views over rolling hills. We honestly didn’t want to leave! The back garden was massiveand we spent ages relaxing in the hot tub. The kitchen was well-stocked with plenty of plates and cutlery, plus two big fridges. Loved the island and the sweet touch of cake and wine left for us. The owners were lovely, especially Jeremy-such a kind man-and their dog was adorable. We’re already planning our next trip, can’t wait to come back!

We had such a lovely time! The house was spotless and really beautiful, set in a stunning spot. The owners were super friendly and welcoming, which made all the difference. We don’t get to see each other often, so having everything perfect really meant a lot. Truly special memories created at Hay Barn.

We had a fantastic stay! The hot tub was just perfect-so warm and relaxing after a day out. The outdoor space with cushions, BBQand picnic area was spot on for lazy afternoons. We loved sitting on the lawn, listening to the river-it’s such a peaceful spot. The billiard room was a big hit with us too. Inside, the barn is beautifully furnished, clearly with great taste. The modern kitchen was really well equipped, making cooking easy. Overall, a brilliant place-nothing to fault at all!

We had an amazing week with 6 adults, 4 kidsand 2 dogs! The house was spot-on - beautifully decorated and super comfy. Everything from the beds to the kitchenware was top-notch. The boys loved creating a den in the cupboard under the stairsand the pool table and hot tub were real highlights. We enjoyed long walks by the river, skimming stonesand building rock towers-such simple pleasures! Absolutely loved our stay and can't wait to come back. Truly memorable!

We were a group of 9 adults, needing a ground floor room, all doubles with en-suites if possible. Plus, we wanted a pool or snooker table and a pet-friendly place. Quite a tall order, but this property ticked all those boxes! The bedrooms were incredibly high-specand even though two upstairs rooms didn’t have en-suites, it didn’t matter because they were so lovely. We all left really impressed - definitely recommend it!
Alex Harper
We absolutely loved the place! The scenery was stunning and peaceful. Hosts were super friendly and really went out of their way to make sure we had a great time. Highly recommend!

Emma
We had an absolutely fantastic time! The place is super private with stunning views and lovely walks nearby. The house was fully equipped - honestly, we didn’t want for anything. The renovation story in the book was really interesting too. Every room was beautifully decoratedand the owners were so friendly and helpful, giving us some great tips. The pool table was a bonus and our dogs loved it here too. We’re definitely coming back!
Emily Carter
Hay Barn truly lives up to its 5-star reputation. The quality is outstanding, with every detail carefully considered. We stayed as a mixed group celebrating a 70th birthdayand it was perfect for everyone, especially since one guest had mobility needs. The ground floor’s open plan made wheelchair access effortless, even without support rails in the en-suite. The place is just fantastic, really! We couldn’t have asked for more. Definitely one of the best places we've stayed.
Harriet
Honestly, we couldn't find a single fault with the Hay Barn. From the moment we arrived, the fire was cracklingand the hot tub was waiting. The welcome pack was a lovely touch, especially that delicious cake and the bottles of red - top notch! Monty was adorable and greeted us like old friends. The place is stunning, with incredible attention to detail and a fantastic location. We genuinely hope to return soon - it really exceeded all our expectations. Truly exceptional!
Emma
Really enjoyed our stay! The house had loads of space, was super comfyand had everything we needed. Definitely planning to come back sometime soon!
James
Honestly, this place blew us away! Everything you could think of is there, plus some extras. No complaints at all - we’re already planning our next visit!
