History lovers will find plenty to explore too, with Culzean Castle, Dumfries House, Dundonald Castle, and Dean Castle all within a 15-mile radius. 5 miles away, the village of Alloway celebrates the legacy of Robert Burns, where visitors can see his thatched birthplace cottage, browse the museum devoted to his work, and cross the famous Brig o' Doon.
