Yr Hen Glowty is a renovated stone barn set on a working family farm in Puncheston, Pembrokeshire. Sitting at the end of a 200-yard farm track and surrounded by rolling Welsh countryside, this three-generation family farm offers a genuine rural escape. A private wood-fired hot tub for six and a private sauna in the master en-suite make this genuinely special.

The Preseli Hills are on your doorstep with Bronze and Iron Age remains and ancient drovers roads. The Pembrokeshire coast is an easy drive away. Fishguard is 8 miles with a Saturday Farmers Market at the town hall.

Merlin Hill Centre is a working dairy farm located deep in the Carmarthenshire countryside. Although not a petting farm the farm is still very family friendly with plenty of fun activities to keep children happy. The farm has a good sized play area and plenty of picnic tables as well as a Farmyard Heritage Centre where visitors can learn all about Welsh farm life and about the mystical Legend of Merlin. Get there early if you want to watch the cows being milked!
