This stunning property is designed to make incredible memories for large family gatherings or groups of friends. Set near the village of Tideswell, with a range of great restaurants, independent shops, friendly pubs, and access to great amenities, it is the perfect countryside getaway. In the local area, there is the plague village of Eyam, just 5 miles away, with its gruesome but fascinating history and pretty local walks to explore. There are also lovely local shops with unique produce. Castleton with its caverns, dramatic scenery, beautiful streets, and lovely local pubs, cafes and jewellery shops, is only 8 miles away and is the home of the unique Blue John stone. Just under 8 miles away is Buxton, with wild adventures at Go Ape. It’s also the site of Buxton Country Park and Poole’s Cavern. There are also local microbreweries, the opera house, plenty of shops to explore, and a museum and art gallery. The property itself is set in beautiful secure grounds, nestled in the gorgeous countryside. Accessed via the front door, you enter a large hallway, where a handy utility room just to the side is a great space to shed coats and shoes before exploring this beautiful property. There is a large kitchen, with a lovely warming AGA and bar seating, great for cooking hearty, sociable meals. A dedicated dining room is perfect for those celebration occasions, with an incredible oak table as the centrepiece. The lounge is large and inviting, with lots of luxurious soft seating, and views into the garden from the patio windows. Beamed ceilings and lots of light, make this a truly stunning space for the entire group to enjoy time together. The wood burner adds ambience of an evening and is great for cosy nights in together. There is a downstairs cloakroom/WC and the twin room sits downstairs, with patio doors to the garden. Walking upstairs, the middle floor offers most of the other bedroom spaces, with a diversity of bed make-ups, including two super-king-size zip and link beds which can be made up as twin beds if required, two king-size and two doubles. There is plenty of space to accommodate families and friends, with all rooms featuring oak furniture, soft luxurious furnishings, and lovingly, thoughtful touches. There is a choice of bathrooms on this floor as well, one with a bath and the other with a shower, and the master bedroom has an en-suite shower room. On the top floor, a space for play has been made, with a pool table and some books and board games, as well as a lovely snug area, for some downtime. This is a great room for fun and adventure, with enough space for the entire party. Outside, there is an enclosed garden surrounding the property, with bench seating and a hot tub. An adjoining field can be used for your furry friends to enjoy a run and play, or for family games together. Every detail has been thought of to create a home where memories can be made, and where you, your family or friends, and up to four dogs can come together in this beautiful part of the world.
